1) can you name a regular season tournament that's well attended? 2) not every college event has to be midwest/northeast 3) have you considered that part of its success is that the teams love going there 4) Vegas is awesome. if you're going to travel to a monster regular season event, why not Vegas? out of curiosity, when is the last time you traveled to a college wrestling tournament?

i really like Collin Guffey. hoping they can get him in the lineup next year. If they can go Norman/Guffey or Guffey/Norman at 74/84 that would be ideal imo.

Provo technically didn't use a redshirt yet. the year after graduating hs, he didn't enroll in college.

my predictions 1&2) FCA/Sem in some order - having bigs at IM/Powerade/ETR/Doc B is huge. FCA's bigs will score monster points along with 113/120/126. i think their tourney hinges on 138-157 - Sem is missing Bouzakis and has major question marks at a lot of weights. i think they deserve their ranking, however it is one of the weaker preseason #1 teams i can remember. 3rd - Lake Highland - with a perfect storm, it wouldn't even be that shocking if they won it. - from 138 up, everyone is ranked except for Miguel Rojas (who was at Sem last year). 4) McCort - there's truly a path for them to win this. you could make a case that they have the most locks to podium. 5) Stillwater - i don't see a way they can win it, but i could see them from 3rd to 5th.

not exactly sure on Ludington. he gave me a list like moments after he announced his decommitment but it's pretty obvious more schools entered the mix b/c some of them he's been on visits to weren't on it. it sounds like for Bouazkis it's going to be Lehigh (the kid's choice) or UNC (the dad's choice)

because it's a cap and not a floor, women's wrestling doesn't necessarily gain. what was stopping those programs perviously from having 30? nothing. don't get me wrong, i'm glad there is that much room for growth. but we (wrestling as a whole) definitely didn't get any favors here.

Great job everyone. It was a pretty chill couple of days. That will 100% be short lived. Including myself, who will 100% go overboard at some point. We all have our moments.
