  1. Isn't it crazy how facts and physics keep coming up?
  2. I am so EnvironMental that I refuse to do any of the following: Use new water. I use only recycled water Use new air. I use only recycled air Use new carbon. I use only recycled carbon Use new anything. I have never used anything that contains any newly generated atoms or elements. I refuse to eat beef from farting cows. I eat beef that has been certified to come only from cows that have ceased all farting activities and will never fart again. A man can't love the environment more than that.
  3. Yes. Congress abdicated to the Deep State and so did the courts in the Chevron Ruling (and many others before that). What Trump is doing is mostly aligned with laws passed by Congress. Emergency powers granted by laws are mostly BS and an abdication by Congress of it duties. For the Courts to protect the citizens from the Executive they must strike down laws that grant emergency powers that last longer than about 2 weeks - enough time for Congress to get together and actually vote on a topic. So, when Congress grows a pair and when the courts strike down legislation with never ending emergency powers as unConstitutional (i.e. abdicating responsibility) then we might get something closer to operating under a Constitution. I'm not holding my breath. Until then the throttle on the power of the executive is the ballot box. So that still kind of works.
  4. Just don't plan to go very far. "This very different test’s real-world methodology . . . came in at an average range loss of roughly 25 percent compared to its official government/sticker EV range for the entire group of vehicles." The good news is that if you pull your Snowmobile trailer you can use that to go get a gas-powered generator to charge your EV. You should also plan your trip to recharge your EV somewhere you can go ice-fishing while waiting for it to charge for the next 3 hours or so of driving. Oh yeah, and no using your seat heaters nor steering wheel heaters. It's a bit of a long read. https://www.greencars.com/expert-insights/we-drove-14-popular-evs-in-the-canadian-cold---until-they-died
  5. He's right, you know. The climate never changed before. Never. Those palm trees under glaciers are fake news. Those human settlements. DEEP FAKE! Fish bone fossils on mountaintops. AI generated, natch. Shut up and buy an EV.
  6. Where are the cow farts?!? What color are cow farts? And how big is the fart box?
  7. That's bull*I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*. What do you have against sailors by equating them with swamp scum? Sailors on leave (sic) spend only their money and have to stop when it is gone. They do not make other people's grandchildren pay for their shenanigans. I know. I have been a sailor. P.S. I think you really mean on liberty. But let us not quibble about the term for cavorting in foreign ports vs being on actual vacation visiting Mom back home and eating apple pie.
  8. The Babylon Bee mixes topics. It is a raw and biting. Rough humor. https://babylonbee.com/news/germany-commits-to-100-electric-vehicle-terror-attacks-by-2035
  9. F’ing ice! Ruining the climate. Wait. I got it backwards. F’ing climate! Ruining the ice. Wait . . . Um . . . Just drive an EV because I told you to and shut up! It’s science, donchaknow.
  10. I thought the same thing!! Key and Peele were great. Loved their skit comedy.
  11. Federal judges are in full agreement with RL: https://babylonbee.com/news/federal-judge-declares-constitution-unconstitutional
  12. And trans-swimming.
  13. NICE. Movie drops (nicely modified here) from A Few Good Men are great. Off topic but a great parody of the A Few Good Men speech (fast forward to :40 to avoid an extensive music prelude)
  14. Nah, . . . That's little boy talk. Whoa. To call a term used extensively by Obama "little boy talk" sounds quite racist! You can't say that!
  15. The ultimate court - American people - got the evidence they needed to reverse the decision of the courts at the ballot box in 2024. The 2020 election and its aftermath will be shown to be one of the most devastating examples of a Pyrrhic Victory ever suffered. 81 million votes for the most amazing man EVER IN AMERICA, Joe Biden!
  16. Hamas is responsible for 49,700 gruesome deaths. Hamas is subhuman. They could have stopped the deaths at any moment.
  17. Old school for normal is "normal". Cisgender is newspeak for "normal".
  18. Yes. And we were sure to include all of the lost Japanese and German military jobs as part of the cost (negative in this calculation) of winning WWII. Taking money from hardworking people and still to be born generations and giving it to others then worrying about those taking the loot is quite an interesting take on "a negative in this calculation". If we stop all the thieves from stealing then those thieves will have no jobs!
  19. Pissing away billions. The Dutch Tulip mania of 1634 was more rational than this. And at least the Dutch government did not get involved by mandating tulips and subsidizing just the right kind of tulips and otherwise infringing on the freedom and treasure of its citizens. And the people got to enjoy the tulips for a week or so to assuage their idiocy. EVs, not so much. From Automotive News. Note the idiotic statements "startup ... needs credibility". How about startup needs a product that people want to buy at the price you can sell it? That might be a thing startups need, AutoNews. THEN they get credibility, ya bunch of cotton headed ninny muggins. Another telling statement, "the disappointing demand for EV's" implies the public is the problem. A more truthful and accurate statement would be "the unnaturally overinflated supply and demand for EV's due to bird brained public policies, subsidies, mandates, carbon credits, and other silliness was still unable to convince BorgWarner to keep pissing away money". Nikola goes bust as another Tesla gold rush chase fails Electricity pioneer Nikola Tesla died in 1943, but more than 80 years later his surname generates headlines around the world every day, if not every hour. And some days, both his first and last name make news. Today was one of those days. Troubled Arizona electric truck maker Nikola Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy — another once high-flying Tesla gold rush chaser whose fortunes plunged amid scandal, cash burn and disappointing demand. The company’s fourth CEO, Steven Girsky, has been a respected veteran executive in automotive circles, but his attempt to keep this company afloat the last few years was doomed. Here’s why. For a startup company such as Nikola to survive, it needs credibility. Early in its days as a public company in 2020, the shares skyrocketed and its market value reached about $29 billion. It was frequently featured on CNBC. This company was so red hot that General Motors wanted a piece of the action. It sought an 11 percent stake in Nikola as part of a cash-free deal in exchange for providing access to fuel cell technology and for manufacturing the startup’s electric pickup, the Badger. At the time Nikola said it couldn’t make the Badger without a deal with GM. That deal failed late in 2020 and questions began to rise. Then founder and CEO Trevor Milton became the center of a federal fraud scandal for misrepresenting the capability of a key truck product, as exposed by Bloomberg. Ultimately, he was indicted, found guilty and sentenced to four years in federal prison. How can a startup survive after something such as this? Even without major existential scandals, other EV startups suffered the same fate as Nikola, including Fisker Inc., Lordstown Motors and Canoo Inc. The sad thing is that there is still a long-term future for electric vehicles and hydrogen propulsion technologies. It’s a good bet that someday a technology first developed by a failed company such as Nikola ends up being successful. Meanwhile, the disappointing demand for EVs claimed 188 more jobs in the Detroit area today as supplier BorgWarner Inc. confirmed plans to close two small EV battery parts plants.
  20. Is this mixing shows? Wasn't "Just the facts" from Dragnet? Jack Webb. Dano was Hawaii Five-O. Booking 'em. I suppose it is simple to look up but I decided to do this instead.
  21. Talking about hands touching everything: GIve a buddy a hand!
  22. Why can't Canadian winters get onboard with global warming? Stoopid Canadian winter climate deniers! Justin Trudeau is going to be very very upset with Canadian winters over this:
  23. I counted to infinity. Twice.
  24. Guys, quit being idiots (I know this is a tall order - which I say as a contributing idiot to this forum). It is asinine to call it racist to notice that world class sprinters and NBA players overwhelmingly have similar melanin levels. It is also asinine to call it racist to observe that Jews are very much more successful and have more influence in every society in which they reside than their pure percentage of the population would suggest. IT IS A COMPLIMENT and it is not racist to notice. Chat GPT is full of BS and quoting it as a source indicates who is training Chat GPT and not some undeniable fact. RV's silliness is not noticing the Jewish people are successful. It is thinking that their success justifies treating them worse or the Palestinians better than the behavior of either merits.
