  1. You know...through all the stupid things he's done, I could make a bit of a defense for him IF he was going to take the money he got from the tariffs and then...of course, stop lying about the deals he's getting done(about half the things he got done in the Middle East are...years in the works, had nothing to do with him and were negotiated under Biden and given he actually did some things, there was really had ZERO need to lie about them)...but, if he was going to take the tariffs and use that to DIRECTLY attack the deficit, they'd still be a net negative and a bad idea, but I could understand the agenda. Instead, they're going add trillions to the debt. You are getting what you voted for.
  2. Ok...so "Swallowell" is the "D sen" you were talking about? Yeah, he's not a Senator and he has denied having an affair...you moron. You never fail to expose how...comically ignorant you are. But good to know. The SENATOR you're talking about is...not a Senator at all and your entire rationale is built on something just objectively false. Very on par for Jimmy.
  3. I must not know who you're talking about in this case. Who "banged" a Chinese spy for 5 years? I assumed you were talking about Swalwell who...I don't actually think banged anyone, but clearly you're not. I can't even IMAGINE how outraged you are about the ~10 people who worked for Trump who were convicted of working for foreign Governments while advising him. That must have you OUTRAGED, right? I'm SURE I missed where you expressed your outraged over Trump's association with Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Barrack(just struck a deal with their buddies and he got back that nice plane in return)...Broidy, Bennett, Watts...(I'm sure you know the rest)... right? Because what an incredible fraud you'd be otherwise, right?
  4. REPORT IT....as Stanford JUST did. That's one way...but then you don't believe that. You have Universities studying things like defense technologies or AI, Robotics, Biological and Chemical Weapon research and you're saying they shouldn't be expected to do ANYTHING because...well gosh, it's hard. That's...insane. At the VERY least, you can communicate to students how they may be approached, what to do in the event that they are, monitor ALL access to restricted areas. But I mean, if it's too hard, then you don't get funding to study those topics. We lose some of the brightest young minds because we can't keep our sh!t together...? That a good alternative? Johns Hopkins, MIT, Harvard, they just don't study those sensitive topics any longer.
  5. Yeah...again, this is the HEIGHT of hypocrisy. Trump obtained how many patents when he was IN OFFICE? The CCP paid how much to stay in Trump Hotels? That's straight to Trump, ignoring how much his daughter got from China or how much his Son in Law Got. That "D senator," self-reported...meanwhile you had people employed by foreign states working in the US Government and they didn't self report. And we're STILL talking about his crack-head son? Only a moron would infer that China was getting some preferential treatment under Biden. Biden was at least smart enough to not go after the WHOLE WORLD, but rather continue to go after China. It was under Biden that they limited Chinese access to AI. Odd thing to do when you're working for the Chinese.
  6. Yeah, I don't particularly care to argue the merits of this one case. I'm more curious why you reflexively argued or denied it. Why your first inclination was not to believe Stanford's own reports, but to argue it as though it was a partisan issue. These universities do some VERY sensitive research. You say it's not their job to combat spying. Of course it is. You work for a defense contractor, you don't think you have security clearance and you're responsible for who is privy to the information? I'll press this just as I'll press Jimmy and Ionel(whatever) who said we had more in common with Russia over the Ukraine.
  7. Sure...and I would bet on Ono, but people are acting like he doesn't have an absolute stud in his weight. Crookham beat Vito soundly twice. Vito is a World Champ. So...sure, that'll be helpful and Ono is so good on his feet, that'll help. But it's also a huge disadvantage. I think it's easier to go from Folkstyle to Freestyle than the other way around. Edit-It will be a lot of fun to watch Blaze next year. He's a different style Wrestler than I can remember. His defense is so damn good...it's just mind blowing. 4 years in the State of Ohio and he was never taken down? Can someone verify this for me? So he didn't win the Ironman 4X, he's lost. Did he lose on ride outs or what? I get not getting taken down your last two years or whatever, especially if you're a stud, but all 4 years? I probably will pick him to win it at '41, but it'd be an upset pick.
  8. Yeah, sure. I also believe you start a sentence with a capital letter. I have lots of beliefs. I don't particularly care, but I find it FAR more likely that someone else arranged the shells and he found them. As for "without knowing what it meant," that's not what he said. He said he posted it with the understanding that 86 meant to remove and 47...well, he didn't specify that part, but I'm pretty sure he knew who it was referring to. I'd guess he wouldn't know that "86" meant to "kill" because...again, for the last 4 years while you very MAGA morons who are now outraged, you routinely posted the same thing on social media...and it's never meant to "kill." So no, he didn't say he didn't "know what it meant," he said he thought it meant the same thing it's always meant. It's MAGA who has suddenly objected to it's use and changed it's meaning. I am impressed you're able to figure out how the Caps work to emphasize a word in the middle of a sentence... now just see if you can figure out how they work at the start, that'd be a big improvement! Just a little side note.
  9. Wouldn't it be more worthwhile to let you know when this STOPS happening? In what world are you living in that you can even ask a question like this with a straight face? The CCP has the largest spy apparatus in the world, dwarfing that of the United States, the Russians...Iranians...anyone. I hear a story about China trying to spy in some manner and I think based on the...MOUNTAIN of evidence they routinely do this and I don't think, 'hmm...must be some wingers lying.' To what end? Maybe before even worrying about elections, we should first worry about the intellectual dishonesty. There's a BS fake outrage right now over "8647," where people are actually pretending that's the former FBI director calling for the President to be killed. I know it's kinda akin to screaming into the void, but if you are finding yourself defending the CCP or buying the stupidity of the other thread... you're not engaging in good faith. That's what you expect out of the...'lil Jimmy, but I'd like to think most people are capable of simple reasoning. But lets just start here. Why would you EVER doubt this? Why would you read a story and think "nope, don't believe the Chinese would do that." Just answer that question for me?
  10. Impeachment, the 25th... You really don't believe Comey was saying they should kill Trump. I don't believe YOU believe that and that's because I can't believe you're that stupid. Maybe I just don't WANT to believe that. EVEN if Comey, the lifelong Republican...who just didn't pledge his undying loyalty to Trump WANTED Trump dead, there's no chance you're stupid enough to think he'd publicly put that message out there. And I sure as hell don't believe you morons thought all the people on the right who were doing the "8646" said a word about how they're calling for Biden to be killed.
  11. I saw this...on the same Twitter thread I saw that Biden was dying from Cancer...and I couldn't tell if people were serious. The same people mocking Biden...are...SERIOUSLY trying to say "86" means to kill. 86, common slang term for anyone who's in their 30s...I'd guess 40s. Get rid of it. The amount of absolute nonsense on here is hilarious. By the way, it was Comey who tilted the election in 2016 by announcing the week of the election they were re-opening an investigation into Clinton while not announcing he was investigating Trump as well, but...he's the face of the liberal FBI(which is funny as I know multiple FBI agents who are not even remotely subtle how MAGA they are(though...one Cousin is extremely prudish...despite posting about how Ellison, a Muslim elected to office was "infiltrating" our Govt because he was Muslim but then whined about my Uncle posting a picture in which he vaguely looked like Walter White near a New Mexico sign because it "sent the wrong message.") I'll just say anyone who thinks this was about killing Trump is...shockingly stupid. Edit-It's...actually not shocking any longer.
  12. I did this as well, but I didn't finish it so my computer crashed. 125-Both the finalist are back. 133-Ono has ONE year to learn Folkstyle. He can take Crookham down 3 times, but Crookham is a MONSTER on top. If he were to not score early and choose down, he's likely getting ridden for 2 minutes AND very possibly getting turned(and maybe multiple times). 141-Mendez as you said, 2 TIME DEFENDING CHAMP, Hardy. Lots of others COULD win any of these, but just the obvious. 149-The guy who has won the title two years ago and took a 2nd last year! 157-Shapiro could certainly win that match as well as Taylor. 165-MM is the clear favorite and I'd bet the house on him, but a guy like Mantanona on his own little vision quest COULD give him some problems. But 165 is a near lock. 174-Haines wins it...BUT lets say for the sake of argument that Sinclair goes 174 next year? Sinclair is absolutely...without a doubt talented enough to beat Levi Haines. Haines is still the clear favorite, but Sinclair is built like a '74. I really believe 9 out of 10 kids his size, height, build, everything, they'd cut to 174. He doesn't cut at all and I believe could make '74 and do so while not losing any of that gas tank. Just the opposite, when he wrestled '97, he was getting worn down by Wrestling guys who were probably 20-25 pounds heavier and cutting while he was weighing in under weight. But he LIKELY won't do that. 184-There are 5 guys here who could win it. McEnelly...when would a guy who took a 5X(lets say 4X) Champ to the wire and lost in SV, then loses at the NCAA to a guy who went 3,3,2,1,2 also in SV NOT be the overwhelming favorite? Maybe in a year in which you'll have another incredible young talent in Ferrari? Or how about Ryder? I would have preferred to see Ryder stay as a fan of the sport. I don't know that they got much better. Aedon Sinclair is a darkhorse here. He's as good as anyone in that 2024 class IMO...I even went back and added him as a threat at '74. Welsh was on the easIER side of the bracket at 174 when he lost to Starocci in the finals. It's NEVER easy to get to the finals, but 3 Champs were in that bracket and he Wrestled none of them to get to the finals. 197-Of course AJ Ferrari if he can stay healthy. HWT- I think PSU should be the favorite at 133, 157, 165, 174, 197 That's pretty good. I think they CAN win at 125, 141 and 149. But this past year, they just as likely could have won at '25, '41, '49, '57, '65, '74, '84, '97 and they looked to have the biggest threat to Hendrickson. Penn State is THAT far ahead of the field(though Okie St is looking like they'll be gaining a LOT of ground in '27, '28...that doesn't mean each individual Wrestler is that far ahead of the field. 149-
  13. LOL...I know. I just saw a post where Duke beats Taylor and someone is talking about how "common" it is for HS Wrestlers to beat NCAA Champs now. It's not. It's happened a few times in recent years with THIS group of studs, but it's not "common." I'd even take it back a year and start with the '24 class. '24, '25, '26 are just special groups that are going to make the NCAAs real fun the next few years(not that they aren't anyway).
  14. I'll take Duke over the field AND I think you're right, those three are a tier(a very small tier) ahead of Bassett. Though, as a recruit, Bassett may be the most valuable with his following, the potential to bring along a couple other elite Wrestlers and the energy he brings to a program. And that's of course why Iowa gave him that 5 year 265M deal...because as Jimmy tells me, they just buy all their Wrestlers(though...pretty sure PSU has the most funding, but...never mind that). It's the following he brings to the sport, it's the PA kid going to Iowa, it's the kids that might follow him. I think he wants to kinda "build" a program...well, he wasn't doing that at PSU, OSU(either) or Iowa, but he CAN in theory RE-build Iowa into a National Champ(or at least a threat). It's also just good for Iowa. Now you have Bassett, Ferrari, Keuter, Arnold, Deluca. That's a helluva group of 5. I like Estrada(he seems like just a quiet kid both in terms of his personality and how little people talk about him). But those 5 guys, I think 2 are near locks if they're healthy to win NC in Ferrari and Keuter
  15. This is going to be fascinating. I don't know what the Raney's Collegiate careers look like. I don't think the Mirasola's will stick around if we're 3 years into their careers and the "better" Mirasola isn't starting. BUT, just looking at OKC...that is a TON of talent and I think once you get past '33, it starts to lean to OKC if they can be developed...I don't know man, it looks like that's pretty damn close. I love Ross. I'm driving that bandwagon with the normal *if healthy, if a one sport athlete caveat, but I don't know if anyone not named Kueter is beating him if he's Wrestling still(I'm not sure where that Football career is going, but I doubt he's giving up on it...but he's also really hurting it at this point...IF he has the talent to play at the next level). Jax and Blaze is a toss-up. Vega and Herring, gotta go Vega. I'll take Kaak and Duke at the next two, then Lockett and Rydger, Barr and Ross. Who knows. 3 years ago I'm not sure I'd have Barr as my clear favorite to win the NC after taking 2nd as a Freshmen at 197, but I made a post about this when the Raney's committed, just based on the next 2 recruiting classes, I don't know who has more talent, but I know who recruited more complete classes.
  16. Well...OkieSt and DT are taking a page out of PSUs book and getting people to argue where guys will be Wrestling and who'll be starting in 2-3 years already! Good problem to have. By the way, I was told by @Jimmy Cinnabonthat it was a lock they were going to Iowa...and I just feel so left down. Normally such a reliable and grounded posted has led me astray.
  17. That's one, but I thought there was one who was caught red handed and Haggard was more exposed by his favorite little... drug dealer/prostitute. But yeah, exactly him. Larry Craig also. Anyone who is SOO offended by the idea of gay people getting married, I instantly wonder...'hmm...does that dude like his prostate tickled?' I really stopped keeping track, there's too much hypocrisy. Though that's everywhere, I find it more obnoxious when you're openly judging others, and in Larry Craig's case, writing laws to stop gay rights(this was a while back) and...you're about as straight as cursive. It also doesn't need to be sexual. Remember Joel Oseteen who wanted to "live a life of service," but God WANTS you to be rich! And then he wouldn't let all those disgusting dirty people with no place to go into his church as...I mean, he'd JUST gotten new carpet(Which, we all know that Church carpet is SUPER expensive).
  18. This is true. That's why I've always laughed...when a Larry Craig or the Religious Advisor to the President was caught with a bunch of male hookers and crack cocaine in a hotel room. It adds a level of humor to it.
  19. Ok...well, that renders the entire comment moot and anything else you have to say just incoherent ranting. You say you were proven right but NOBODY else has done anything as serious...so then it'd be stupid to say you were right when he'd be treated better than other people in the same situation, right? Think your posts through. This is...utterly incoherent. Uh...yeah, there have been plenty of NFL players caught with hookers(and blow). If you're good, you get another chance. I'm still at a loss as to how ANY of this relates to how he was treated relative to any other Wrestler, but you seem like you've mostly acknowledged you're just going to phillabuster the hell outta this one and ramble until people say, 'screw it, I don't care.' You don't seem to live in the real world where you reputation precedes you. If you've got arrests in HS and been kicked off College teamS and are fighting teammmates and THEN get arrested for a domestic violence, and you also just have a general reputation as being an insufferable douche, why would you expect the exact same repercussions? Though, again, he GOT suspended. So it seems like you build these premises based on what YOU think will or did happen, you're proven wrong and you just...go on forever about how life ain't fair because...Pat Downey... I can't speak to what you saw or didn't see ~15 years ago. And you're right. You can't help me see what you saw or didn't see. Did I ask you to?
  20. I've been saying the same thing...albeit about a different athlete. There was this Football player, set records, won a Heisman, 2,000 yards in 14 games, one of the 5 greatest backs of all-time. He says, no, no, did you hear about this guy. And I said, you mean the man who gave back as a sideline reporter, who has a genuine and affable personality, who helped a struggling actor stay at his house(in retrospect, maybe not a good move on his his behalf, but he just cared so much), who drew more eyeballs to week long drama about the ills of slavery, who became a millionaire in the NFL and made millions promoting our sport, put smiles on people's faces with Leslie Nielsen. So yeah...I heard about Orenthal James Simpson....a man of faith, a man without an addiction, who broke records, won a Heisman, elevated his sport, elevated the Buffalo Bills, gave back to his sport, brought awareness to people as an actor, brought joy to people as an actor... So if there is anything else you're talking about when discussing Orenthal Simpson, a man with a life filled with good deeds and take this one "not so good deed," and talk about anything else, then maybe the problem is you...(wow, I'm actually in awe of how deep this is) LOL...for the record, I am NOT equating OJ with Snyder...just this absurd logic. That being a great athlete means you're immune from criticism if it was only the one "not so good deed?" Also, no way was Gwiz vs Snyder the biggest match in NCAA History. Start with Taylor-Dake and then work back to rank them in terms of anticipation, but I don't care if it was the highest rated(and I can't find evidence it was)...that doesn't make it the "biggest." There were like 9 people who saw Snyder win his Gold and yet...we're talking about him because he's an Olympic Champ. Has it now? Did you see the suspension coming? Who didn't get the "benefit of the doubt" that Snyder has gotten? And this "relatable" nonsense. Who has this made him more "relatable" to? Why are even comparing Downey to Snyder? One has a much longer list and... did you say was more of a douche bag(without the World or Olympic titles). I'm not seeing a lot of similarities here.
  21. Yeah...that's just the thing. I WASN'T really debating anything. I just made a couple comments that I was dubious about the sex addiction, how Snyder would do the ask for forgiveness and become a better Christian thing and then that I really felt bad for his wife and I think that's more consequential than any potential suspension...and I got hit with the EVER so hot take that...child prostitution is bad...which of course...that's a hot take Well...that confirms it, he had no way of knowing if she was of age or not...
  22. No, nobody said anything about kids other than some idiot because I said I didn't buy that it was an addiction and I thought him cheating on his wife would be the most significant part of this. Then I got some houlier than tho nonsense about how most sex workers are children(not true) who are trafficked and...apparently my comments totally unrelated to that were offense to the guy who said he was "having a blast" talking about this for ~30 pages.
  23. No, but seeking out sex in particular and then saying it's a disease or you have an addiction to sex is a lazy cop out...IMO.
  24. I'm not saying he will or won't be, but I am saying that just pointing out that the other 15 who were arrested were able to "go back to work," that doesn't mean that Snyder somehow is entitled to the same "rights" with regard to his employment. USA Wrestling could suspend him...I don't know if they will. I do know that...it's not legal in most parts of the Country. It's criminalized more in some than others, but mostly my point was when you have a high profile job, you're not subject to the same ramifications at that job as you would be if you were...an accountant, in waste management(unless it's "waste management," then it's a promotion probably)....in short, Snyder is and should be held to a higher standard as he's been given more responsibility. I do believe the biggest issue is his wife and him. That's where I lost the most respect for Snyder. And if some moron comes in and takes that and runs with it being some tacit endorsement of child sex trafficking, that's on them. I really have little patience for the intellectually dishonest.
