  1. At many events the unpaid volunteers (intentionally redundant) don't know they're going to do it until they walk to the table. When I do an event, I'll often send the host people links to training videos to send out to their people (assuming they know who they are). Depending on the event- waiting until the hands are raised to click the checkered flag icon- can really slow things down. At a more local event or at something like NHSCA/Super 32/Fargo the next kids are already standing there waiting. We actually have seen it's best NOT to have older adults doing this. A MS/HS/College age kid is better- even if they're not big time wrestling people. I wasn't involved in the streaming either but did help design the program. Our only streaming concern was that the embedded clock match up with the real visible clock for the purposes of review. These are the training links I might send out. Freestyle- Folkstyle- common errors-
  2. I wasn't hitting the forum then. So were most people that could answer the question.
  3. This would be the opposite of the other long standing thread.
  4. A friend of mine is setting up the Flo version. I just noticed the names were up. I hit the first weight saw this- Normal recognizable country names PLUS- Individual Neutral Athletes Sheesh!
  5. There might be a mutiny if they did!
  6. The Judicial Division already did get involved. That's why we're where we are now.
  7. Airport isn't big enough. We struggle to get in and out with 1/3-1/2 the people. And flights aren't cheap.
  8. USAW does take age into account as declared on their USAW card. Could they have lied on their card? Sure, I suppose but the registration system won't allow them to enter if they turned 19 prior to Sept 1 of 2022 (In this case).
  9. Flo is working on an entirely new system. No idea which it will be more like, if either. There are a number of tournaments (as I understand- Super32, NHSCA, a number of others) that will be able to continue with Flo for some given period of time. I suspect until the next gen is unveiled. But the majority of former Flo events will need to switch to Track.
  10. Not that anyone can truly understand NCAA rules, especially with covid in the works but that's how I read it. I was having trouble trying to figure out how some kids were thinking that even if they didn't wrestle that year and had wrestled 4 other years that they could get another year to wrestle.
  11. St Edward had a streak from 1980 to 2018
  12. Not at all sure what you are trying to say. Registration is via USAW. It will be moved to Flo after each USAW based weighin.
  13. Frankly, my dear,.....
  14. Or have a long pole/reel. However, simple Google Is Nebraska a good fishing state? Nebraska has few natural lakes, not created by man, and that alone makes these waters special. Their incredible productivity makes them outstanding fisheries. A number of sandhill lakes can provide some of the best panfish fishing to be found anywhere. These lakes are known for producing bluegills as big as any place.
  15. Maybe these?
  16. You missed the whole thing. That must have been Waters that did that.
  17. I said the sign wasn't exactly the same . I just saw the only thing similar I understood. I asked about it because there was no fire in the kid's eyes- and I forgot to mention his coach was directly behind me. It might have been one of a few signs tied together as they might have been having a more substantial conversation. They told me it meant he was tired. But in looking the signs up before the previous post, I realized that the water sign was closer and he might have been saying I'm tired and I want water. Having the fingers like you mention near the mouth would have looked similar enough to the picture to fool me.
  18. LJ is tech support for Flo (mainly in the setup area- he's by far the best cable pull-up/arm wrapper ever). He came and worked the Preps the first couple years of Flo Arena software. The Flo table was a few yards from the head table and other side from the stairs coming down from the head table. For me to get his attention consisted of me throwing a frisbee into his sight line. Also, about 40 years ago I reffed the World Deaf games trials in Philly. No whistle. All hand signals. I enjoyed it. I don't know ASL. After one match, the kid that lost looked over towards me and made something like this- I guess he wasn't Italian and this means water. It's not exactly the same but ...
  19. ??? We register via USAW
  20. Cejudo. He went to Grand Canyon graduating in 2015. Even if you discount that he went to college later than usual by age he was only 21 when he won in 2008. And he graduated HS in 2006.
  21. Once again, our JB takes the cake!
  22. Illinois is like a Little Croatia!
  23. For sure, although I hear there's someone else in the running with him now. (And no, I don't know who)
