Guys coming in will need more than a year to really pick up what a new coach offers. Look at the Transers to Penn State. Most don't pick up "The Penn State Style" on the mat. Too often they have to try and overcome what they are doing and fail to build on it and add what Cael imparts to most of his other guys. The jury is out on whether Taylor can push guys to the top as a coach. It won't be a nice first year and a Title the second as Cael did. It is going to take him longer and until OSU beats Iowa Taylor won't be considered a success by the fans.

Bet Taylor would take the spot and OSU would cheer him on in every way. A current Olympic Gold would really help recruiting.

Those in charge of the Olympic Games KNOW this will happen every time. Why do they hold qualifiers in Nations that present a danger to some of the participants - as in this case a specific Nation: Israel? With two schools having two 4 time NCAA Champions - where will the next 4 timer come from? Cornell & Penn State have two each. Doesn't give them the edge, does it? Iowa has none - are they due? Just about the schools, not which individual wrestler can probably do it. Way to many variables - both individually as well as for the school, but you have to start somewhere.
