  1. OP is silly, the takeaway is that... R's vs D's in wrestling isn't a thing - R's & D's get along just fine in wrestling.
  2. Trump is as sharp as a frisbee. (But to be fair, Biden isn't much sharper.)
  3. Handful of cows. My parents grew up on real farms and it was important to them that we grew up understanding it. They didn't have fond memories as much as they thought it would be good for us. Kind of like... "see, this is how we had to do it - not much fun - now, maybe you find a better way for yourself." Had a similar experience late in high school and early college working high-risk construction with my best friend. My boss (who was my bf's dad) would literally tell us that "this is why you want to graduate from college - you do not want to do this your whole life." It stuck, both times. I went into neither farming nor construction. But I do like olives and am partial to Russian Olive trees.
  4. I would NEVER have imagined a meat smoking thread would have been this successful. It's a really good one. Well done. (Yes, I meant to say that.)
  5. Sending prayers and thoughts to the Sasso's. This is just too terrible. We've got to get a handle on teenage crime. Whatever the priority has been, it should be moved up to near the top of the list.
  6. I did experiment with beer can chicken quite a few times. It seemed pretty decent, that was right about the time I bought the pellet grill. Doing the chicken challenge, and then expanding to spatchcocked chicken (as headshuck mentioned earlier) and competition chicken thighs - I've never looked back. Both the beer can chicken holder and the chicken wing holder are collecting dust in my garage closet. Along with more grilling accessories than I'd care to admit.
  7. You post as if you are incessantly attacking, but I don't necessarily believe you really are that person. I'd like to extend an olive branch. You post on topics that you know nothing about - specifically against me. I instinctively feel obligated to call you out on each of them - because they are specifically about me. Seems a recipe for 'nobody wins.' Maybe you limit your know-nothing posts against me, and I'll limit my calling-out posts against you. Seems fair.
  8. I grew up on a family farm. Something you obviously know nothing about. Yet you chime in. Speaks to your credibility.
  9. Ah, you worked on a big dairy farm. Not a family farm. Maybe owned by an investment group. They got rich, and you got to take home your paycheck and a jug of milk.
  10. Did anybody actually watch the video? The part where it says that the walls don't work is kind of an important point.
  11. Whoa... easy on the superlatives. Many are in that group. No need to provide more fuel for the fire of nonsense.
  12. You're obviously not a snowflake. Some people here just feel the need to repeat Fox news material 24/7. "Fox Robots" all day every day. If they could just take the time to consider posting original thought and content, this could be a measurably better place.
  13. That is interesting. How do you feel about "The Kama Sutra"?
  14. Except that R's represent well in the 'lower three' on the list, and D's represent well on the 'upper four' on the list. In other words, I don't see a significant difference between R's and D's in wrestling. (But, jross, you already knew both these things.)
  15. When I buy thicker, fattier ribs, I don't wrap them at all. The fat in the meat will basically 'baste' the meat while it cooks. Releasing moisture in the process. No need to wrap, the moisture from the fat keeps the meat from drying out. I've never wrapped a pork butt. So much fat and connective tissue there to breakdown, I've found it best to leave it cooking without opening the lid from start to finish. As they say, If you are lookin' it isn't cookin'
  16. That is crazy stuff. Had to search the internet to figure out your post. It is nuts that Stormy is pointing out 45's little mushroom based on actual experience. Just so weird.
  17. Who the heck is 'they'? I don't advise liberal seasoning. I advise middle-of-the-road seasoning every chance I get.
  18. On a Traeger, if you spritz you don't need a pan of water. The pan of water adds to the amount of mass that needs to be heated in the chamber, thus affecting the cook. A regular spritz will be more than adequate for keeping the meat from drying out.
  19. The point of the wrap is to decrease the 'stall' - and also to keep the meat from drying out. It does work well, but it's just one method. If you've got the time to wait out the stall, and are judicious about keeping the meat moist, there are other methods that work well that won't leave you with burnt ribs. But they have their own nuances. Which is why the 3-2-1, 2-2-1, 2-1-1, etc. methods with wrapping have become so popular. They're easy and relatively consistent. Nothing worse than spending hours on the BBQ to end up with burnt up meat. I've been there more than I'd like to.
  20. The non-partisan angle is refreshing, because the problem is exactly that. The border problem has existed for many decades. Not just D/Biden or R/Trump or D/Obama or R/Bush, etc. The problem isn't a D vs R problem - it is a border problem, and it isn't a simple one. It is an extremely tough problem. Which is why administrations from either party haven't been able to solve it. The first step here is for us to stop lying to each other. It isn't an R vs D problem. Nobody actually wants "open" borders. Nobody. And, further, nobody has the answers in their pocket. Nobody. We all pay taxes, and we fund the US Customs and Border Patrol nearly $4 Billion a year. Some falsely claim our borders are being ignored - I'm pointing at "our" nearly $4 Billion expense that says otherwise. This is a hard problem. Trying to make it an R vs D problem on top of that isn't helping.
  21. You've had ample time to look it up, learn more, understand, and apologize for being completely wrong. Yet you go with the 'pearls clutched' bulls*** - and continue to claim "I didn't know much" ignorance. Reading through your posts, you seem to have a knack for claiming ignorance. (It does fit you.) It may seem clever to you now, but it won't get you far.
  22. I retract everything I've ever posted about you being a 'smarter' poster than the most hateful ones. I tried. But the tirades, the wild anger. You're 100% crazy town.
