  1. Challenge lost. Zain loses 7-2. The replay clearly showed he initiated the chest wrap there, right?
  2. Zain gives up four with 25S to go. Challenge coming. Trying to get points for the chest wrap there. Unsure what way it goes.
  3. I haven't said it in a while, but Tyler Berger can go ***duck** himself for headbutting Zain like that last year. It still hasn't healed.
  4. Ochir could go on the clock pretty quickly here.
  5. Takedown with 1 on the shot clock! 2-2 Zain up with 90S to go! Blood time. Zain is leaking again.
  6. Zain is on the clock. 2M to go.
  7. Both have been called for action. One will probably go on the clock early in the 2nd. 2-0 at the break. Zain is losing.
  8. Oof. Ochir nearly twizzlered Zain's arm off there. Ochir up 2 - 0 with 1M to go in the first.
  9. Zain is over six hours off the scale. He looks weaponized.
  10. This Bulgaria - Turkey match just before Zain has been fire on Mat A.
  11. I would pay them NIL.
  12. You seem to believe that I give a rats ass what you seem to think. I am at B1Gs or NCAAs every year. As I have been since 1985. I am very easy to find.
  13. I'm not doing any mental gymnastics, you're just trying to be a dick to a college kid because it's easy from a keyboard.
  14. No. His prior statement is outdated. Why are you being obtuse? There is no need to pick a fight. Especially during the DT/OSU news conference, man. c'mon!
  15. Nini did shore it up, for those who anticipate greatness out of him (keep in mind who you're questioning there... the BIGGEST Illini fan on these boards in @ILLINIWrestlingBlog). Kraisser shores it up a little better and allows further development to take place without the pressure of performance. Win - Win, really
  16. That's as may be, but obviously even if it was true it wasn't and is irrelevant at this point to anybody who cares for OSU Wrestling.
  17. You can too. You're still ignoring the implied 'elsewhere' there. Your statement 'You can't claim home over money elsewhere when home was more money.' is inaccurate. The last part of that statements doesn't matter to the intended/implied point.
  18. Because another guy entered the fold that wasn't apparent before. He is allowed to be excited for Nini then also be excited if a guy who is projected to 'be better' enters the fold. He can be excited for either or both.
  19. He could have also rejected any amount of money elsewhere and still have it be true that he chose to stay home over money elsewhere.
  20. Ah, I understand what you meant by dry up. You didn't mean that NLWC would be out of money, just that he wouldn't be getting money from it, presumably. My apologies for the shortsightedness. You're not reading it well or maybe I didn't say it well. He never said the latter. He chose 'home for loyalty of money elsewhere' in that elsewhere was the key omitted word. The amount of money he got for staying home is entirely irrelevant. It could be $5 or $5 million. Home over money elsewhere.
  21. You don't understand how endowments work nor do you understand why as long as there is one at Penn State for wrestling they will continue to own whoever they want with NIL.
  22. I don't know why it repeatedly needs to be said, but the context there was that he turned down an offer (or three) that would have paid him handsomely to go elsewhere to stay home and still be the highest paid college wrestler next year. Both can be true.
  23. There are semantics that can be used for it... Manning whinges... it's like he pisses and moans just to piss and moan sometimes. Bono is a turdbiscuit meathead. Schwab is a champion for the people (and his athletes) - always. The Brands Bros get heated, pissed off, and breath fire. They often don't stop breathing fire until a day or two later. Different levels there. Those levels are also driven by their off-mat personas and antics because, and lets be honest, most people haven't actually watched Manning or Bono or Schwab in a dual setting. You are 100% spot on with a resounding reason being that it is because it's Iowa.
  24. I have kind of not since I found these BBS a decade or so ago. I was more mellow in my earlier years.
  25. A driving factor for that might be that both of the Brands Bros are closer to 60 than 50, whereas Gilman hasn't even hit 30 yet. You expect a young spitfire who becomes a coach to have his moments... you don't expect two older, aging spitfires to still be that way after years and years of criticisms for being that way.
