  1. For those who want a lame narrative. Black is their last name. Anyone wanting to focus on anything but that can STFU and GTFOH, all respects due.
  2. Page says brackets released at 9:30 AM local time. It is now 9:37 AM. Sadface.
  3. I mean... you could be and he could. Both of your questions could be true.
  4. Oh god. Those adds...
  5. I still want to know if they have only wrestled three (3) times. There are no backroom matches between these two at team camps and whatnot?
  6. The winner of the Open in MGR is the representative?
  7. Ronna Gross in the Bronze match, only losing to Winchester on the front side. Edit: She has been out two seasons and is just coming back.
  8. Jayden Raney wrestled U17s last year and he got a high seed (#3) because of his PIN rating from his success there. I saw a lot of folks essentially *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*ting on him, because he was U17, and he outperformed his seed. He is wrestling the smaller Koontz in the 55 KG finals.
  9. Peyton Robb lost to an 18 year old in the semi-finals at 72 KG. Mind you, that 18 year old has a 45 year old father of the same name up at the next weight also in the finals tomorrow. Good pedigree.
  10. Otto as well?! Badass!
  11. Happy to see @LJB's boy get over that Miranda hump. Great match.
  12. Richards in to the finals at 60 KG for MGR.
  13. Lamer at 184 as well?
  14. This is all poppycock. Why would he be drinking? He's 12 years old, FFS!
  15. Coule Daschle make 165? He did not look big at 184 - plus All Red, and Minto is going 174.
  16. Nah, I see it.
  17. I suppose methods are similar, just you're comparing a Worlds medalist and multi-time NC with a 2x 5th placer that retired due to injuries (and not placing his last two/three years of eligibility).
  18. Zahid Valencia has Kaid Brock energy? Please educate us as to how.
  19. What do you mean?
  20. He won't be seeded, but there is a non-zero chance of seeing Nolf in at 79 KG as well. @Husker_Du and @Baschamania are going to cover whatever expenses he has.
  21. There is also a nonzero chance we see Nolf this weekend, btw, at 79 KG.
  22. To be fair, I do think that version of Cox beats this version of Zahid, but the reasoning(s) are due to matchup. I think Cox was just too defensively sound and explosive that Zahid wouldn't have been able to get his offense going. This Zahid likely beats all the same people that version of Cox did. This version of Dake verse this version of Zahid is probably close to a 50/50 toss-up, honestly. They should both be considered the favorite(s) and honestly I am looking forward to seeing how PK does against Dake, being as just a few weeks ago PK was a VERY large 184lber and last summer Dake was a 74 KG (163lber). That version of Cox against the version of Dake was probably also close to a 50/50, but they're both very defensive wrestlers. That means the bigger, stronger, and more explosive one is going to win more often than not, and he did (2 of 3)
