Hardy loses a lot of advantages at 149 that he has at 141. Mainly his length. At 27 years of age, I find it hard to believe he can add 8lbs of functional muscle. Edit: Also, he might be thr favorite at 141lbs anyways. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mendez head to 149lbs for lineup purposes at tOSU.
