  1. You mean the season Spencer Lee was already out for the season due to injury before Nicky Skeletor ever wrestled a match? That season?
  2. Swiderski was not smaller than a guy who's been 74 KG for a bit. Facundo did not look THAT small (157lbs ~8 months ago) against a guy who has been 86 KG for a while.
  3. That's what I said.
  4. I like what Milano showed last year. I want to see him at 125lbs for them. He was in that same Michigan class w/ Braeden Davis (Penn State), Drew Heethus (Princeton), and Caden Horwath (Michigan?). I would love to see all four of them have success at the D1 level.
  5. Which means only one that he can lose to at Natties.
  6. I think it ends up being this: 125 - Spratley 133 - Figeuroa 141 - Vega 149 - Jamison 157 - Swiderski 165 - Lockett 174 - Facundo 184 - Ryder 197 - Merrill 285 - Doucet
  7. He was at an Ivy school. Of course he would face Ivy kids.
  8. I think we see Swiderski at 157lbs...
  9. Joe Kania is making wagers on the Twitter that he will be the 65 KG rep for 2028 and has even gone as far as to say that he knows things he can't say.
  10. I saw that. He'll recover better not dehydrating his brain, though. I really like seeing Gomez at 70 KG. He's an animal.
  11. I was hoping to see him at 165lbs, not 157lbs. Gomez, when he went to 149lbs, rather than 133lbs, was able to do something about the concussion issues he has had.
  12. God, I hope so. That said, USAW does have their own interpretations of rules, albeit they do try to have them enforced in the same light. That said, we often get slapped with a different sort of methodology/implementation when we are at worlds - especially in regards to passivity.
  13. You're absolutely correct. It isn't like they are chump change - how many age level medals does that group of 13 have? How many fargo titles or WNO victories? It's a lot.
  14. 6 titles w/ 7 wrestlers seems a bit better than 3 titles w/ 13 wrestlers. Especially since three or four of those seven wrestlers are heavy favorites to win a title this year as well while none of the 13 are favorites to win a title. I do agree that more looks can be better, I just don't agree on the 13 being better than those 7 (yet).
  15. Pretty sure this is the answer. U20s are in Bulgaria aren't they? They are both in the EU and NATO as well. So is Croatia.
  16. Another hat to throw in the ring at 141lbs (if Swiderski and Jamison are 149/157 and not going back down to 141) is Carter Young. He beat Bartlett, albeit in MFS and on the backside at WTT via 10-0 tech. Before anyone clasps on to that being the backside, the match on the frontside at the Open was 5-3 for Bartlett - so not a blow out. I think you go who your best two options are in Jamison, Swiderski, and Teague at 149/157 and I wouldn't care if we see all three at some amalgamation of both weights before the new year, so long as they settled it by then so whoever goes 157lbs can settle in to it by conferences.
  17. But they're on the same team. I don't think he is beating him, let alone taking the spot from him. I would be okay being proven wrong, though. How sick would that be?
  18. x2 It doesn't make any sense. Especially when the only real hole he seems to have, that is apparent right now, is that he is small at 74 KG. He needs to add size. And anyways... there isn't a soul at 165lbs who is going to come close to beating him next season. Why would he cut the extra eight pounds?
  19. No, not at all. I just thought his movement last season in the few matches he wrestled at 165lbs didn't look as good as when he was at 174lbs. He's a 0.500 wrestler if he goes 174lbs next season (losing record in the B1G, likely - winning otherwise). If he goes 165lbs, I don't like his chances.
  20. I like this pickup. I don't know if I like him at 174lbs, though. I think I prefer Shannon at 174lbs and O'Neil at 165lbs. Honestly, if Marines decides 165lbs is the weight he wants to go, then both of them are out of luck for 165lbs. High hopes for Marines.
  21. Also, @TNwrestling, see below. my Brosef. I should have proper nouned that bitch - my apologies.
  22. I might get him on the mat, but I am also not in too shabby of shape. 134lb 1988 version of me would beat the piss out of me... but I am still pretty scrappy for an old dog. Still get all the kids at the open mats.
  23. They really aren't too. Carr has a much longer frame and room to grow, not to mention world class quickness and power. Caliendo reminds me of Sean Sherk... short little arms and gym muscles.
  24. See below. You already conceded, brosef. We all win, though. Ben seems to be high in spirits.
