  1. Phipps avenges his loss to Lopes in the other semi at 133 which only has 1 allocation At 141, #33 ranked and 4th seed Carter Bailey of Lehigh will only be wrestling for 7th after losing to #5 seed Kresho of F&M in the quarters then #8 seed Hoyle of Hofstra in the consis At 184, #21 ranked and 2nd seed Hoose of Drexel falls to #7 seed Williams of Navy in the quarters. He’ll be wrestling #1 seed Ebert of Binghampton in the consi-semis, who lost to #4 seed (but #22 ranked) McFarland of Hofstra in the semis. Michael Beard with a tech and a pin en route to the finals
  2. #1 seed and #21 ranked at 125 Anthony Molton of Campbell falls to #5 seed Tyson Lane of Gardner-Webb in the semis looks to be the biggest upset so far
  3. Flo showing one mat of semis on YouTube. #1 seed at 133 Berginc of Army falls to Waterman of Drexel
  4. Never heard of the “grain belt express” until this week but it looks like the Missouri AG has been against it for years (it was first approved in 2011), seems like he’s just trying to get DOGE to stop it because he couldn’t do it on his own. And apparently it’s not necessarily taxpayer funded, it’s a loan guarantee. I’m not a big fan of eminent domain, but that’s a separate issue than waste. But good to see we’ve moved from “we need to balance the budget by cutting $2 trillion in spending” to “we just want to set an example to do something about waste”
  5. Kellanova is not the cereal company. It was split off from the cereal company. Its main brands are Cheez Its, Pringles, Pop Tarts, and Eggo.
  6. Didn’t Little have concussion protocol against Barr too?
  7. Looks like he’s the winner!
  8. Case in point: here is DOGE bragging about saving $11k per year to water plants. But they’re saying DOGE will do it, so even though they claim it will be “free of charge” someone will still be getting paid for it.
  9. Talk of this appears to be picking up on PSU forums
  10. I literally just gave some suggestions, focus on the largest purchases first or whether cards are spending a lot more on certain categories vs others used by people in similar positions. I’m also on board with cancelling cards that aren’t being used, but as I said initially that doesn’t save much money. Which is really my overall point, trimming employee credit card expenses isn’t going to save us the taxpayers all that much. So if that’s what DOGE is celebrating less than 2 months into the presidency, it leads me to believe that they’ve already run out of low-hanging fruit and I’m skeptical they will actually find $2 trillion or whatever of “waste, fraud and abuse”
  11. I do agree with this (for $5MM of the $8MM claimed). They weren’t “turning mice transgender,” but it did seem like most of the studies were focused around seeing the impact of procedures that were used for trans folks.
  12. Except he didn’t state that, he specifically said he thought politics “was not playing into this at all.” That’s the lie…
  13. Yes that is the lie. It is the exact opposite of the answer given by what they claim is the “source”
  14. How exactly is shutting off credit cards helping to find fraud? If anything it probably makes more sense to leave them on to see if people continue to make fraudulent purchases… I’m sure Musk’s minions have a way they can try to find the fraud. Start with biggest purchases, sort by category, etc. I just don’t see how shutting off almost everyone’s cards helps in that task
  15. What time is the 197 final going to be? Like 1am Eastern?
  16. I do also find it interesting that no one else called out the blatant lie in the x post in the OP…
  17. By anyone? Yes. “Proclaimed over and over”? No.
  18. You’re literally quoting a post of mine saying we should root them out, and are claiming I’m saying to do nothing? lol, you guys will believe whatever you want to believe
  19. Well now you’re moving the goalposts. The issue I took was with the assertion that many people actually thought he was one of the “greatest ever” (technically OP said THE greatest ever, but I won’t nitpick that). If the line is now simply “great,” then yes now you’re moving closer to an opinion that a majority of Democrats held.
  20. Your “data” consists of Reddit posts, x posts from people with only a couple thousand followers, and blogs from people no one has ever heard of. Yes, I’m sure you could find a few hundred anonymous x users claiming Biden is one of the best ever, but that was not a common opinion among the left (of which I am not a part of). The fact that the same random blog post was shared twice in this same thread is evidence of that - clearly that must be one of the top google results…
  21. Well I never argued that the left thinks Trump is the worst, that’s true. But I don’t think many think Biden is the best. Even the links you just posted added the qualifier of “in my lifetime,” with several even adding further qualifiers than that. The only of those links that called him one of the best ever was the blog post from “Bobby from the Bronx” that was already shared
  22. My comparison wasn’t bad. 14 / 46 presidents = 0.3 0.3 x 77 wrestling teams = 23rd So the 14th “greatest” president is comparable to the 23rd “greatest” wrestler in the NCAA
  23. Will they be doing True 2nds?
