I don’t know enough about the HS guys to comment.
But overall seems like OSU has had a lot of momentum so yeah I could see them challenging in 2028.
Is the PSU lineup above assuming Kasak redshirts over the next 2 years?
I don’t see many people cheering and celebrating with glee about this. Mostly just rightfully calling out his hypocrisy.
It’s overall not good for the sport of wrestling as a whole, an Olympic Gold medalist getting arrested, especially one that had been previously thought to be a model citizen.
Was there ever any press release or anything about this? I honestly don’t remember. I’ve tried googling and can’t find much other than he was dropped by NJRTC which is an employer and different from a sport governing body.
Thank you. I feel like “contests or dates” could be either one. If the 5 “dates” for redshirts only applies to dates, I feel like that might be how this could be interpreted too. Clearly Slumlord Bob and likely the staff must think there’s a chance.
But isn’t it dates, not duals? In 2023 he wrestled 2 duals in a day twice. As discussed, still seems like he’s one over the limit, but if they’re able to make him retroactively unattached at Midlands or something seems like he would meet the criteria
No way that’s true. Snyder was basically the face of Rudis. They apparently spent a bunch of time removing his presence from the site, I’m sure they had several higher-ups involved in that tweet.
Does him covering himself up with Rudis shorts in the video fall under the “no publicity is bad publicity” saying?
Sorry, I probably should have called out that that post was 3 years old
I searched “Kyle Snyder bible study” on x to see if I could find one of the wrestlers talking about it but all I found were his posts quoting bible verses. There are a lot
Wasn’t Alvarez briefly at NC State as a true freshman? Not sure if he was ever enrolled though. If so (and if he’s eligible), this would be his 5th school. Would that be a record, at least for an AA?
“a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes”
Pretty sure there have been multiple PSU wrestlers that have talked on Basch’s podcast about him leading Bible studies
