  1. Why’d they put both of the “victims” of trans idealogy on both sides of Usha Vance?
  2. He still thinks that 300 year olds are getting social security checks…
  3. NPR reported that the document was dated to have changed to $400 million in December, but did not appear in the Internet archive for that month. https://www.npr.org/2025/02/24/nx-s1-5305269/tesla-state-department-elon-musk-trump Technically, the x post I shared earlier is incorrect as the contract has not been cancelled, they just changed the name so they don’t give away who’s going to win the contract. I just thought it was funny that that would be the largest savings from DOGE.
  4. Yes, for less than $4 million in total ($483K for the cars). It was changed to $400 million in December, and later the reference to Tesla was removed.
  5. Sad to hear. I will be rooting for the Illini for him
  6. Imagine how ballistic some folks would be going if that quote was from Biden
  7. Safe to count you as one that won’t blame a potential recession on Biden then?
  8. So any negative economic indicators have nothing to do with anything that’s happened in the past 6 weeks?
  9. “Buckle up” implies the upcoming stats are not going to look good, no?
  10. Conservatives laying the groundwork to blame all future economic issues on Biden
  11. Also acknowledged as being planned
  12. Seems like the campaign is working, they’re even getting conservatives to share the videos about costs not coming down on day 1, lol
  13. It actually seems like they changed the words slightly. But yeah obviously the overall theme and saying “sh1t that ain’t true” thing must have been planned. Which I agree is stupid. But I bet if you asked them they’d admit is coordinated. Not like “DC Draino” who tried to deny it.
  14. Is that word for word? Hard to tell from a video that is playing 100 clips simultaneously…
  15. This was in response to someone asking him about it being taken off the market, he’s not actually recommending it. Lex Fridman asked him specifically, “can you name any vaccines that you think are good?” He does not name any specific vaccines, and says “some are probably averting more problems than they’re causing. There is no vaccine that is safe and effective.” Lex then brings up the polio vaccine specifically and RFK rambles about issues with an old version of the vaccine and ultimately says he “doesn’t know if it caused more deaths than it averted.” Starts at 1:55:40
  16. Don’t think this area is really considered Center City, but I stayed there recently and thought it was a pretty good spot. Definitely get Angelo’s pizza & cheesesteaks
  17. I like @Jon_Kozak having fun with it
  18. I thought someone here speculated that due to the Campbell situation, Sentes encouraged him to go in the portal and get paid. No clue if any truth to that
  19. What exact words? I know he always says “I’m for safe and effective vaccines,” but prior to Sunday I’m pretty sure he had never actually cited an example of one that he thought was safe and effective
  20. Was that before or after the American Top Team gym was built in the parking lot of M2?
  21. I’m sure we could probably shed ~25% of the federal workforce without too many people noticing. The early retirement or extended severance incentive was a good idea. But give people some time to decide if they want to take it. This would encourage people to also look for another job and hope to collect both the severance while also getting a new job. If that doesn’t get you to your goal, do layoffs like a normal company would, take some time to actually determine what positions are redundant and who are the poor performers. Not on the whims of some teenagers or based on an email demanding bullet points. Don’t shut down entire departments in a moment’s notice, and if you really feel that’s necessary, actually do it legally.
