  1. I didn’t realize that other than the 4 transfers OSU got this offseason, the rest of their starting lineup (including 2 prior transfers) is from Oklahoma.
  2. Meh, not saying it was anything positive that Biden did as he contributed to them getting so high in the first place, but interest rates had already started coming down prior to the election. Thank you for sharing the Canada information, I don’t really follow their economy so am unfamiliar with what you’re referring to. How long did it take between the “short term unemployment” and “increase in private sector jobs”?
  3. Us? I agree it should be good for the country as a whole in the long-run but how much of this savings is the average person actually going to see? And be sure to include all the lost jobs as a negative in this calculation.
  4. Well Elon is calling things fraud without evidence, so yeah, I’m pretty sure he’d tweet out if there was actual fraud.
  5. Lol nice whataboutism. I believe the point of @Tripnsweep’s post is calling out the Trump admin for reportedly trying to get these guys freed while they are actively facing actual sex offense charges. Did the Biden admin ever do that?
  6. How do they not have much room for improvement? They lose Schultz, but still have another year of Figueroa if he doesn’t join his former teammates at Iowa. The 2 Larkins are studs also if they stay as well. Manville was a pretty big recruit. Vazquez may have another year too if 2022 was a medical.
  7. Yes that is a spladle. Knox’s wasn’t
  8. “Load management” is the politically correct way to say ducking…
  9. I know Cannon had cancer a few years back which itself is a great comeback story, but was he injured at the beginning of this season?
  10. I mean he wasn’t going full Terry Brands or Doug Schwab but it looks like more than just “coaching” to me. I don’t think it’s normal for most sane coaches to try to talk to refs while action is still occurring. Throw the brick, then state your case after action stops.
  11. Even the rest of the Illinois bench knew it should’ve been a takedown lol, there was like one guy surprised at the original call
  12. Starts around 36:30 you can see him complaining to the assistant as time was expiring
  13. Good point. I’d lean it’s going to be Ferrari if I had to guess since Brands said he’d use all his dates and “not against cupcakes,” but he may have planned to do that before Arnold lost to Allred.
  14. I’ll bet you that he won’t tech fall him. Which is what someone “a lot better” would do.
  15. I don’t know if we know that. Looks like they haven’t wrestled since 2022
  16. Willie says on podcast with Basch that he wouldn’t rule out coaches penalizing Miller for sitting and making Kasak the 1.
  17. Why is it laughable to say he (well, Nickerson) ducked Happel? One of the tournaments he didn’t wrestle in was won by Vombaur.
  18. The funny part to me is Poeta complaining that should be a TD but Sealey’s shouldn’t have
  19. It being a clear liquid makes it less likely it was alcohol, but not confirmed. Did Hegseth address it? I know I’ve seen conservatives claim that “not denying it” is proof they did it.
  20. These guys are complete dbags, but I haven’t followed the case, they are technically still just “alleged” sex traffickers right?
  21. When was this? I don’t recall this. He’s definitely a genius and a great businessman but yeah he can’t be a genius in all fields. The thing I dislike about him is his hypocrisy. Most notably when he specifically said he wasn’t going to ban the account that tracked his plane and then did it anyway, and when he said x needed to be “politically neutral” but then confiscated the “America” handle to use to specifically support Republicans.
  22. You sure it originally claimed air traffic controllers were fired? Here is the Press Secretary quoting the author of the article’s post from almost 24 hours ago, which includes a direct quote from the current article which does not say that air traffic controllers were fired: Looks like the only edits to the article I can tell are about the DOGE Facebook page, as it originally said someone was harassed by “the official DOGE Facebook page” but it has been updated to “an account labeled the Department of Government Efficiency but it is unclear who operates it.” This particular page if not official is a pretty good impersonation, even directing people to PM DOGE at confirmed accounts on x. https://www.facebook.com/share/16DKNdGLDe/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  23. What’s misleading? The link @Tripnsweep shared doesn’t say they fired air traffic controllers, it says they fired “FAA staff.” Seems odd that the line from the administration is “zero critical personnel were fired” without defining what determines if someone is critical. And as I said above, the probationary employees aren’t saving them much anyway since I’m sure they made the least amount of money. If anything the misleading part of the story is focusing on the FAA when probationary employees are being fired across the entire government. I can’t find a specific number, but have seen reports of “nearly all” of the over 200k that hold that status - https://apnews.com/article/trump-federal-workers-layoffs-doge-406752da1614755b8fabe9c94e0c71a8
