Agree on 1 & 2. I do think #3 may be possible. Honestly hate to say it but I’d probably say Minnow is more relevant than Basch (the # of twitter followers would back this up). Basch is pretty much just a PSU homer that has some inside access. Brands may have been referring to Willie though as I believe he had also thought Kem was done for the year.
I think it’s fair to say Seth Nevills was recruited over for Kerk.
Taylor probably still qualifies too regardless of the motivations.
Don’t think Beard/Hoffman qualifies.
The transfer portal has certainly increased the frequency of this.
Lamont/Burwick of course probably the most recent example.
Maybe before the transfer portal but I think Suriano to Rutgers basically resulted in both Alex Mackall and Brandon Paetzell transferring out. Then can probably say Suriano over Medley at Michigan too.
Maybe Real Woods over Wyatt Henson (although now Henson wrestling 133)
Tate Orndorff over Gas Tank Gary
Michael Beard says hi.
Nonetheless, I’d probably take Lamont to score more at NCAA’s this year. But Burwick for 3 years will probably outscore Lamont’s 1. Although to be fair we really need to also use whoever Wisconsin’s 133 ends up being next year and the year after
So if Kraisser and Gaitan avoided getting majored, and Carr got one, who would’ve had the tiebreaker? (I realize if he needed it Cassioppi would’ve tried harder for bonus)
So the call was also challenged and reviewed, correct? Does appear to be a TD based on the current rule, but I could see them changing the wording in the future.
Yeah I didn’t see any home cooking there. Murin’s TD in SV may have been a tad quick but he would have gotten it.
That had to be the closest 26-11 dual I’ve ever seen.
Nice job by Murin with the clutch win. Now just needs more of that at NCAA’s so he doesn’t finish R12 for the 4th time…
What’s you guys think of Marinelli and Young as announcers? I thought they (particularly Marinelli) were OK, just a little homerish of course. It was kinda annoying that all the Iowa guys were on a first name basis and the Penn guys were always “this guy.”
Even if he wasn’t injured, Ayala would be redshirting. The new rule allowing redshirts to wrestle some attached matches is only for true freshmen. So assuming Lee is coming back at some point, we won’t be seeing Ayala in any duals.
Several guys appear to be out for Iowa, I think Penn has a chance.

My predictions:
125: Miller maj Harris 4-0 Penn
133: Colaiocco dec Schriever (tossup?) 7-0
141: Ferrante dec Bennett 10-0
149: Murin dec Zapf (tossup) 10-3
157: Artalona dec Rathjen/Siebrecht 13-3
165: Kennedy dec Revano 13-6
174: Incontrera maj Rhodes 17-6
184: Assad maj Hale 17-10
197: Warner dec Urbas 17-13
285: Cassioppi fall Goldin 19-17 Iowa
Could come down to Murin/Zapf and/or bonus
