  1. I’m saying he had concussion symptoms and was sent back out. IIRC, they did not perform a proper test.
  2. Well it definitely happened with Shapiro
  3. Is it true Ungar suffered an apparent concussion at CKLV and they sent him back out too?
  4. Has Bassett been 144 all year? I don’t really follow HS so could be wrong here but for some reason I thought he had been at 138 (where Blaze was here)
  5. You’d think the tournament organizers could at least pull a page from the casino playbook and just give out free tickets so it doesn’t look so empty
  6. Definitely looks like at least 2 to me
  7. Firstnamebunchofnumbers definitely seems reliable to me
  8. We definitely should have done some better studies on masks. I believe the one you’re referring to was in Bangladesh, and it found a statistically significant impact of about 11% - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9036942/. By definition, a statistically significant finding is a “meaningful difference.”
  9. If he’s injured why wrestle at CKLV? Seems eerily similar to Ventresca last year
  10. The trick I’ve heard anti-trans folks say to claim they understand better is to change the word “trans” to “pretend”
  11. Ok hadn’t seen that one, which says they use “all pronouns.” The main article I saw was this one from 2020, so also using “he” may be a recent change. Regardless, they were born female. https://www.outsports.com/2020/12/10/22167377/layshia-clarendon-wnba-trans-non-binary-genderqueer-basketball-instagram/
  12. And then they changed the rules and Thomas would no longer be eligible. Thomas is the only one to really make a significant impact in NCAA D1 and that was over 2 years ago. Riley Gaines sure seems to be profiting nicely off of this situation.
  13. Yeah never heard of this person until today and seems like they were born female and now identifies as non-binary. Don’t see that they ever identified as a man
  14. I guess the DEA pick was too woke?
  15. It’s interesting to me that so many of the people claiming they’re “protecting women’s sports!” seem to have such little respect for the athletic abilities of biological women. You think some random “gangly white dudes” could make it in the WNBA without being at least a somewhat successful basketball player as a male? I don’t. This SJSU volleyball player is a great example. She even played volleyball as a male in early years of high school apparently, yet all she could muster up was honorable mention All Mountain West. Biological males do not belong in women’s sports. But they’re not going to “take over” like some people seem to think.
  16. That bolded sentence says they think she held those positions, it doesn’t mean any of those reasons drove why they voted for Trump, especially considering that sentence lists 4 different positions. IMO, the fact that down-ballot races were not as favorable to Republicans as the Presidential race was is evidence the trans issue was not a major factor in people’s votes.
  17. I believe the “Suriano level” comment was more about his potential, not necessarily what he’s already accomplished. Although IIRC I saw a poster saying one of the rumor-starter’s comments about the PSU guy was that he was “more accomplished than SVN,” although I did not see that comment personally. Which would pretty much only leave Haines and Mesenbrink as options, which I doubt.
  18. Arizona State this year is probably in the conversation
  19. Yes I agree with your second sentence. Apologies my sentence was worded poorly. I still feel that biological men competing in women’s sports had very little impact in the election.
  20. Not really. Quite a few down-ballot Republicans in states Trump won that spent a lot of money on anti-trans ads lost their races.
  21. Just because Republicans plastered ads about it doesn’t mean it actually impacted how more than a few people voted
  22. I think it’s a medium sized deal, but I think it was far down the list of why people voted the way they did. It was about the economy.
  23. Sorry, didn’t mean this year
  24. Lol I turned off my ad blocker today and got this one
