What was up with Bergeland getting pinned in the first round by Lindenwood? Anyone see the match? Rough start to the season for Bergeland.

What's a "practickoner"? Is that a TicTok thing?

Imagine if he filled out to about 270? Wow.

Thanks! Appreciate it!

If they announce those on radio could you post scores? Thanks!

True freshman Tolentino for OSU. VN riding well

He’s good

Good effort by Whisenhunt. He’s going to be a good one down the road.
-
I think we can win 125 and hopefully pull an upset somewhere else. Interested to see how the Lumberjack does against Dean today if anything, we won the thread font.

That's funny!!! Figueroa committed to ASU very early on.... Courtney was supposed to finish last year in 2022 but got a COVID year..... It was actually planned to lineup perfectly.

I know that it's a response to Wisconsin's statement because: Wisconsin Statement: "The UW compliance staff and administration worked with Nebraska over the last several months" Manning quote in Exstrom Twitter: "They did not work with us,They made a statement. That was false." Pretty clear and not hard what the references are about.
-
It's a response to Wisconsin's statement that their compliance staff worked with Nebraska. Not that hard.
-
Perhaps you should go read Burwick's twitter and his dad's twitter and Manning's twitter... If this is true...haha...it's his own words on his twitter. Many of us were hashing through this on the old mat forum when this was actually happening. And , no, it does not undercut anything. When he found out Lamont came in that's when he actually made the decision to transfer.
-
Yeah but do you have a sit down interview with Manning, complete with DNA test that it is indeed him, where he states, with closed captioning, that in fact, Wisconsin is not working on the best behalf of Kyle Burwick? Furthermore, does Manning define what "best behalf" means? Haha... I was about to post this.... then ionel .... EDIT: P.S. Mark Manning has retweeted the Burwick tweets about the situation. Isn't that a indication of agreement on Manning's part with Burwick's situation?
-
Funny how Burwick, his dad, Nebraska and wrestling media are all saying the same thing, but Wisconsin has been silent other than some vague comment. Yet, people still want to defend Wisconsin with lots of "if's" and "Maybe's".
-
He had already been considering transferring from Wisconsin after the NCAA.... He was notified May 23rd of the LaMont transfer. He went in the portal that week. He met with the coaches two weeks later. He was NOT coming back - It was very clear - They were not going to keep a guy on scholarship who went in the portal and then met with them to tell them he is not going back. As a side note, coaches can still "not" release a wrestler to another school - it happened just last year to a prominent transfer and he sat the first semester.
-
Yeah, I think it's a safe bet that when he went to the portal that they withdrew the scholarship. It's not announced... it's pretty much a given... so you probably aren't going see any announcement. Why would they keep him on scholarship for the next year if he were leaving the program?
-
Somehow this boils down to being Tom or Carl's fault...somewhow.
-
How about Willie @Husker_Du confirming the same thing in this very thread?
-
Your argument is historical which there is no argument here about Lamont's accomplishments...I am talking about now - today. Lamont has digressed over the last few years. He is not wrestling well this year either. Do you disagree with that? I was also very clear with the words "so far" which also implies that my statements are to be taken now, today, but that could change later. If Burwick and LaMont wrestle on January 29th and Lamont wins a close match, then I was correct (the difference between the two is not much). If Burwick wins I am correct (if any). You would be correct if LaMont wins that match comfortably. Was it a mistake to choose LaMont over Burwick? Is that change going to get Wisonsin a trophy?
-
Lamont was very good a couple years ago and by all accounts seems like a great guy.......unfortunately wins two years ago don't count now... but a loss to the #29 and #16 guy do. As long as we are playing the historical game...look at guys that Lamont used to beat that now beat him....If he was on trajectory he would have wrestled a close match with Vito... We will see how this plays out.... I would take 3 years of Burwick over 1 year of LaMont. Maybe you should put it to a poll and see how it would turn out... I would be interested to see. P.S. Thanks for pointing out that Burwick defeated Schwartz....who beat Lamont in their last meeting.... see how that historical thing works?
