    I was there… nothing to see here folks. If you’re triggered by a former President attending a sporting event at the invitation of the mayor of a city, in a state that supports that former president, then you really need to dig down deep and summon those lessons you learned from wrestling…if you in fact wrestled… because I’m guessing this won’t be the last time a former president attends a major sporting event.

    You make a good point. This thread takes more away from the ncaa championships than Trump does.

    He came in well before the parade of champions. Crowd was about 1/5 capacity when he came in He is sitting with Mayor of Tulsa off to the side on the end. A very small crowd around him they only announced him once when acknowledging the mayor. O’Connor ran over after his interview and got his picture taken. He has not taken away from the finals at all. No need to be triggered.

    If Warner finishes lower than 2nd, does this prove that you digress at Iowa from your junior to senior year?

    He didn't place the year before because he decided to wrestle right before the Pac-12 tournament out of shape. He only has one guy that placed ahead of him coming into the season - Matthews - He started the season #2 behind him. Winning the title does not prove that Iowa gets a huge feather in cap for developing talent. He would have been expected to be a finalist no matter where he was going to school.
