  1. Little was wobbly in the first after he fought off that TD out of bounds, I know they tested him but sure seemed like he had his bell rung.
  2. I still think the simplest (and admittedly not perfect) solution is to just 197 to 205. Easy to implement and an improvement. Could also go 165, 175, 185, 205 and 285 for round numbers sake. Easy adjustment in either case.
  3. Always a joy to watch wrestle, never shy to go big and his matches were always fun to watch as a result.
  4. I've never heard of butter on a Pop Tart, but am not denying that it's delicious. My spicy take is that I eat pop tarts unpopped, just open up the package and dig in. To be fair it's been a couple decades and I'm not even sure I would like a Pop Tart nowadays, but this is the internet so fight me.
  5. Welcome to the board! Very good point, while this loss may have put you at a bigger risk for facing KOT/Haines before the semis in March, getting that feel and knowing what you have to work on makes you a better wrestler in three months. Could go either way...
  6. Norman impressed though, looked like the better guy in neutral. Choosing down in the 3rd was a mistake, should have tried to win it in your best position.
  7. Come on ladies and gentlemen, stop engaging with this poster already. It's time, let's all stop... They don't actually believe anything they are saying, just put them on ignore.
  8. Or maybe he doubles down
  9. The "I choose top" decision heard around the world.
  10. When did Reader leave? I totally missed that...
  11. Correct answer, both have their place.
  12. Plus people often show up a little late to meets, they could have missed some or all of Steveson's match with him going first. People do make some valid points, so it wasn't a decision with zero merit. That said, I still feel like it wasn't the "right" call to have GS go first.
  13. Do we have any actual info on Teemer's injury?
  14. Seriously, why would you do that?
  15. I think the best overall team to win a dual is Surtin at 133 and Rocky and HWT while Walker and Sinclair man 125 and 197. But both those guys have earned the right to make the big cuts and fight for high placement at NCAAs. Their size/length are big advantages and I don't think either can place nearly as high at a weight above. Let the true freshman fill in while keeping their shirts, lose some duals that nobody cares about and let your veterans make the big cuts for March glory.
  16. Looks like it's premium content, requires some sort of subscription.
  17. EDIT - found a link to the stream on WresteStat: https://gobison.com/watch/?Live=4508&type=Live
  18. It was a good scrap and way closer than the final score. Good fight Brawny
  19. Yeah it sure seems like NC State cuts a ton consistently as a team year in and year out.
  20. I was thinking Bar Mitzvah
  21. So any news as to when we'll see him on the mat?
  22. Steiber beat 4 and possibly 6+ - Oliver, Ramos, Maple and Retherford for sure. Could have beaten Brewer and Dean Heil.
  23. “I just feel like it was my natural weight. Talked to the coaches. I think they wanted me to go 184 last year, but I can be stubborn at times and things like that. So for me, I think them telling me to do something, I kind of want to do the opposite. I'm guessing this quote from Starocci was before they got Truax, not after. Like a discussion after the season ended, the Star said he's staying at 174, then Truax gets brought in.
  24. That's gotta be the oldest lineup of all time right?
  25. Great news that Iran is coming, is this 92kg bracket the greatest non-Olympic weight bracket in history?
