    But is all this smoke based on that one interview? That is my question as I haven't seen any other ink about it... Given he was thinking 74kg for OTTs I would think 184 is a better fit for him. And quite frankly the 4x champ gets to pick where he goes

    I know he mentioned it as a "maybe" in the one video, but is there any more smoke about Carter to 197 happening in other interviews or articles? Quite frankly Carter often says things that don't end up happening, so I'm not sure how much weight to put into it...

    You have to stop the momentum of the attacker, to me it didn't look like Zain was able to do that.

    He clearly took his foot off the gas in the second period, which was the right call given how quick that guy was and countering him. Don't give up counters, make him attack, give up points you have to spare, etc. Wasn't pretty but god the job done.

    Considering how much NWLC is killing it, I would think they'd want to keep him there.

    Yes he'll be busy, but this is the Olympics. I personally don't think it's really a question if he'd go or not.

    If Brooks somehow can't wrestle, I would expect that DT will be our rep. John Smith won a gold medal while being a coach, the Olympics are in early August which won't affect the upcoming season too much.

    That doesn't make sense though, if an AD can't make legally a promise why would they? They would be risking their own job doing so. And if Smith made the promise, well that isn't his call as we see now.
