  1. Was there an announcement I missed? He wrestled in November...
  2. Is Camacho vs Robinison a sure thing either? You figure with Robinson hurt since Vegas Camacho would be in there. Camacho's last match was November at 133 and he INJ Defaulted, so maybe his season is over.
  3. That makes Webster 1-3 in his last 4 matches.
  4. I think the highest odds of Steveson not winning NCAAs (I'll go 5%) is that he just decides not to go to Big Tens and/or Philly. I can totally see a "j/k, just doing duals" out of him, though again 5%
  5. Hardy always brings it, win or lose.
  6. The announcers keep saying "Harchla" as if the K is silent. Is that actually how you pronounce it?
  7. He looks great but i can't unsee that Vegas final where Lorenzo Norman was the better guy on their feet. He takes neutral in that match I think he would have won it.
  8. Did Brian do the Mizzou dual? If so, I can vouch that he does an excellent job.
  9. Please everyone show up, "we" need a dual like this
  10. I think it's a "death by 1000 cuts" thing for me with my lower interest this year. Everything people mentioned has factored in - PSU dominance, NIL, transfer portals, consistent lack of premium dual matchups, people never graduating via Covid and just kind of sticking around, watered down early season tournies, lack of action after following free a little closer the last couple years, etc. There's no smoking gun really and I still enjoy college wrestling, but for a guy who has been to every NCAA since 2000 I'd be lying if I said I feel the same way about it now. Maybe my change in life priorities is the biggest factor, but given the other folks with similar thoughts means there's something to it. So yeah it's different now but I'm not 100% sure why.
  11. Could very well be that Arnold is already moving down to 174 (maybe Brands isn't wrestling anymore this year) and has the descent rules and can't go there yet.
  12. I think he's going to the Midlands, don't remember where I read that but I'm pretty sure I did.
  13. Little was wobbly in the first after he fought off that TD out of bounds, I know they tested him but sure seemed like he had his bell rung.
  14. I still think the simplest (and admittedly not perfect) solution is to just 197 to 205. Easy to implement and an improvement. Could also go 165, 175, 185, 205 and 285 for round numbers sake. Easy adjustment in either case.
  15. Always a joy to watch wrestle, never shy to go big and his matches were always fun to watch as a result.
  16. I've never heard of butter on a Pop Tart, but am not denying that it's delicious. My spicy take is that I eat pop tarts unpopped, just open up the package and dig in. To be fair it's been a couple decades and I'm not even sure I would like a Pop Tart nowadays, but this is the internet so fight me.
  17. Welcome to the board! Very good point, while this loss may have put you at a bigger risk for facing KOT/Haines before the semis in March, getting that feel and knowing what you have to work on makes you a better wrestler in three months. Could go either way...
  18. Norman impressed though, looked like the better guy in neutral. Choosing down in the 3rd was a mistake, should have tried to win it in your best position.
  19. Come on ladies and gentlemen, stop engaging with this poster already. It's time, let's all stop... They don't actually believe anything they are saying, just put them on ignore.
  20. Or maybe he doubles down
  21. The "I choose top" decision heard around the world.
  22. When did Reader leave? I totally missed that...
  23. Correct answer, both have their place.
  24. Plus people often show up a little late to meets, they could have missed some or all of Steveson's match with him going first. People do make some valid points, so it wasn't a decision with zero merit. That said, I still feel like it wasn't the "right" call to have GS go first.
  25. Do we have any actual info on Teemer's injury?
