  1. There was some high level scrambling in the 125 match. Berginc had Camacho dead to rights on that peek out
  2. Probably depends on how he is doing against McEnally and Nelson. Salazar is a huge 184 pounder so I would think he could move up to 197 also.
  3. What do you expect when you bring a pitchfork to a gun fight?
  4. True. I could see him going down to 174 if Salazar stays at 184 next year and he cannot beat him.
  5. Yeah, I did not think about Max because he wrestled 195 in HS but he will definitely be in that 184 mix as well. I think most of these guys end up at 184/197 but Gabe might be a career 174. He is pretty short for 184.
  6. Ryder - Arnold was a super close match and Arnold was coming back from injury. To me Ryder/Arnold/Barr/Welsh/Thompson are all super high level wrestlers that can come in and push for the podium right away. I do not think there is much that separates these guys. They are all top 10 P4P recruits.
  7. What is your opinion on Josh Barr and Zach Ryder?
  8. Whether he took a pay-cut or he made a lateral pay move is beside the point. He took a step down in roll (from head coach to associate) because he wanted to be in Stillwater and thought it was a better opportunity for himself and his family to pursue. Obviously he prefers to be there as opposed to UNC...
  9. I do not think that 165 was "watered down" either. There was some very bad injury luck to some of the high seeded wrestlers though. Marinelli (the 1 seed) broke ribs, Mekhi (the 4 seed) blew out his shoulder and I believe that Anthony Valencia (the 2 seed) was dealing with injuries also (but I could be misremembering that - ASU fans can fact check me).
  10. I think that Wittlake is probably a 2.5 point favorite over Arnold at this point for what it's worth. I just think Arnold is going to be very good and could make some noise if he gets the start this weekend.
  11. Rocco Welsh is a stud. I think he could contend for AA honors right now. Same with Arnold.
  12. How do you feel about Cole Mirasola, Rocco Welsh, Tate Naaktaborgen, Luca Augustine? Arnold has a big hit list. If he was wearing a navy colored singlet with a white belt around the middle I think you would have a different feeling about it.
  13. Per Baschamania, Facundo will Olympic redshirt. Have to assume Mesenbrink will be the guy for PSU. Should be fun to see how he stacks up against the top 6 guys.
  14. Here is an excerpt from Nebraska's website on Nash. Read here: https://huskers.com/sports/football/roster/season/2023/player/nash-hutmacher "2023 (Junior) Nash Hutmacher has started every game this season and has set career highs with 33 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks. Entering the Wisconsin game, Hutmacher is tied for the team lead in TFLs and ranks second in sacks. Hutmacher totaled tackles at Minnesota, including an eight-yard sack. Against Northern Illinois, Hutmacher recorded six tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss, which included a half sack. He made two tackles against Louisiana Tech. Hutmacher had three tackles and a quarterback hurry against Michigan. He recorded four tackles at Illinois. Hutmacher was a disruptive force against Northwestern, setting career highs with seven tackles, 2.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks. Hutmacher recorded three tackles at Michigan State, including a half TFL. He had four tackles against Maryland with a two-yard tackle for loss. Hutmacher is wearing the No. 0 this season, as he was one of 10 Huskers to earn a single-digit number in a team vote selecting him as one of Nebraska's "toughest" players."
  15. I would love to see it. He was an SD HS wrestling great. I was under the impression that he was in the 320-330 pound range for football so I would highly doubt it will happen.
  16. I agree that Turk shot Stoll. The rest of the points you made are at best hearsay. Show the proof. If the oldest two Ferrari brothers did a drive by shooting then why were they not thrown in prison? None of it adds up.
  17. My point being why would Cael blame the Justice Dept for a criminal offense. Did Tom Brands blame the justice department when Seth Gross broke the law? No. These are totally different situations and should be treated as such.
  18. Half of the stuff you stated here is either patently false or speculation.
  19. There is a big difference between committing an ncaa violation (that is legal) and raping a woman or crashing a vehicle while driving under the influence. If you can't see that, I can't help you. The situations are not the same at all.
  20. Hutchmacher?
  21. Are we really supposed to believe that UNI and all of the D2 and D3 schools in Iowa did not have anyone affected by this? I think he has a point to an extent.
  22. 7,6,8,6 finishes for Miklus. His hit list at NCAA's includes Eric Schultz, Ben Honis, Lorenzo Thomas, TJ Dudley, Jacob Holschlag. It appears that Miklus had a propensity to split matches with opponents. He split with TJ Dudley - winning in 2015 at NCAA's and in 2016 dual and losing in 2016 at NCAA's. He beat Nolan Boyd twice in 2015 then lost to him twice in 2016. In 2016 he beat Jared Haught in the dual and then lost to him at NCAA's. In 2018 he beat Preston Weigel in the dual and then lost to him at 2019 NCAA's. in 2018 he beat and lost to Jacob Holschlag at NCAA's and also beat him in the dual. In 2019 he lost to Josh Hokit in the dual, beat him at Big 12's and then lost to him at NCAA's.
  23. Willie Miklus?? Brewer/Ashnault
  24. Also would explain why he was calling the Nebraska-Campbell dual last week.
