  1. That was a slick cradle from Hardy.
  2. I'm biased but looked like a TD to me. Leg hooked and behind the arms. I thought the same.
  3. What do y’all think of the first KOT - Carr takedown? Looked like a takedown to me. Great match. Those guys are warriors.
  4. Olejnik beat him last time they wrestled I believe.
  5. 125 #8 Figueroa (ASU) #3 Ayala (Iowa) 133 #1 Fix (Ok State) #6 Arujau (Cornell) 141 #1 Mendez (tOSU) #2 Bartlett (PSU) 149 #4 Henson (VT) #6 Gomez (Michigan) 157 #1 Haines (PSU) #2 Teemer (ASU) 165 #1 O'Toole (Mizzou) #2 Mesenbrink (PSU) 174 #9 Starocci (PSU) #6 Welsh (tOSU) 184 #1 Keckeisen (UNI) #2 Salazar (Minny) 197 #1 Brooks (PSU) #3 Sloan (SDSU) (I have to go with my guy here. Total heart not head pick) 285 #1 Kerkvliet (PSU) #3 Hendrickson (AFA)
  6. I was close….
  7. Watters has such a fun style to watch. He is slick and a hammer on top. That being said, I have Henson winning a controlled match 7-2 with a couple of takedowns. Henson is strong and stingy.
  8. Can Eric Armbar Barnett keep it rolling? His single leg defense is very.... unique. I think he beats Smith and heads to the semi finals as a 10 seed.
  9. The biggest problem with him is that he never even lets Rock Harrison talk. Rock of the better commentators that we have.
  10. Heindselman is universally disliked by every opponent he faces. To get a reaction out of Zach Elam takes a lot
  11. That’s what it looked like they called
  12. What was the penalty point on Wolak for? He had a single leg in the air
  13. The 9 seed looks to be fair for Starocci

  15. A lot of length between those guys. Hamiti has to be one of the only guys that regularly works a butcher at the D1 level. And he has success with it.
  16. Why? When I was a sophomore in college I was putting up 350 at 210 pounds while eating McDonalds and not living a good lifestyle.
  17. Nebraska @jajensen09
  18. Not a great round for the Jackrabbits
  19. Williams is incredibly talented. Would not surprised at all to see him win a title in his career.
  20. Idk man. This is the beau Bartlett experience. He does this and wins
  21. Cael stare down
  22. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I think it’s weird to change the rules when you wrestle a blind wrestler. This is the highest level of wrestling and it can totally change the style of how an athlete has to compete.
  23. In order or likelihood I will go: 10% Davis - 125 is crazy and he already has an OT match with Peterson 2% Mekhi - had a 2-1 victory over Turley last year at NCAA's and in that close of a match anything can happen 1% Fix - Bouzakis is a wild man and a pinner <1% Keckeisen - Feldkamp is also a wild man and a pinner <1% Haines - Mauller is the most accomplished 16/17 seed in the tournament
  24. Kerk pretty much rides/turns all of his opponents and gets ridden by no one. That is the definition of proficient mat wrestling. Saying anything else is disingenuous. In fact he out mat-wrestled Wyatt Hendrickson to beat him in the semis at nationals last year. I am not saying that Kerk's style of mat wrestling is exciting but it is one of, if not the most effective in this weight class. It is very reminiscent of Starrocci's mat wrestling.
  25. What makes you think Bastida is the better wrestler? Kerk is a returning finalist and one of the best mat wrestlers at the weight. His outside step high crotch is also probably the best leg attack of anyone at heavyweight. Yonger has incredible defense.
