  1. Those are some hammers (2 that came in due to program closures).
  2. Who are the guys that transferred into ASU? For some reason I cannot think of anyone other than Tsirtis.
  3. One correction - Minnesota vs Wisconsin is on B1G+
  4. Now it's being reported that Christian Carrol is not enrolled at ISU.

  6. Exactly. He is going to be fine. Generally speaking, these big guys will take some lumps in there first couple years as they figure out how to handle the size and strength of D1 heavy weights. Parris was R12 his first year. Feldman had a similar level loss last year to Owen Trephan. There are not a lot of guys that come in and place as freshman at 285 (or any weight class for that matter). The ones I can think of recently are Gable, Kerk, Feldman, Shultz, Hilger, Cassioppi.
  7. Is it possible that Shultz is a Tier 3 guy and then there is a big Tier 4? I think if Shultz got right (physically, mentally, effort, attitude) he would be the only other guy to possibly push Kerk and Wyatt. 2022 happened a long time ago but that was a great run from him.
  8. I believe that the Anglicans and episcopals have priests as well. It is not just a Catholic thing. Though there are plenty of Catholic priests and popes that have children but that is neither here nor there.

  10. And his one "bad match" was a close loss to a solid opponent that has a win over a former NCAA finalist on his resume this year.... and he was in on the legs close to securing the go ahead takedown multiple times in the third period.
  11. Trust me, no one under 21 is drinking non-alcoholic seltzer waters haha.
  12. Waterloo grape flavor. I like to get crazy..

Thanks Willie. Is the plan for the brothers to stay put at ASU even with the closing of Sunkist Kids?
  14. Robles was a 3x AA. 2008 R12, 2009 - 4th, 2010 - 7th, 2011 - 1st and an undefeated 36-0 record.

  16. Editing to include Hill. Joel Jesuroga transferred to St. Cloud St (D2) where he is currently ranked #5 at 157 (he did just beat #1 so he will likely jump in the rankings) Bretli Reyna transferred to Chattanooga where he is currently a backup 149 Cade Siebrecht transerred to SDSU and is currently a backup at 149 Cobe Siebrecht transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #28 at 157 Carter Martinson transferred to Central Iowa (D3) and is currently unranked at 157 Carson Martinson transferred to Central Iowa (D3) and is currently unranked at 157 Drake Rhodes transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #10 at 165 Aidan Riggins transferred to ISU and is currently unranked at 165/174 Zach Glazier transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #15 Bradley Hill transferred to OU and is currently unranked
  17. You are thinking of Nate Jesuroga who retired as a high school senior or junior that was committed to Iowa. Good catch on Hill. I missed him.
  18. Six of the guys that transferred were at 149/157. Iowa currently have 9 guys on the roster in those weight classes. If no one transferred out or moved on there would be 15 guys at 149/157. The most notable transfers are Siebrecht/Rhodes/Glazier and none of them had a clear path to starting. Joel Jesuroga transferred to St. Cloud St (D2) where he is currently ranked #5 at 157 (he did just beat #1 so he will likely jump in the rankings) Bretli Reyna transferred to Chattanooga where he is currently a backup 149 Cade Siebrecht transerred to SDSU and is currently a backup at 149 Cobe Siebrecht transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #28 at 157 Carter Martinson transferred to Central Iowa (D3) and is currently unranked at 157 Carson Martinson transferred to Central Iowa (D3) and is currently unranked at 157 Drake Rhodes transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #10 at 165 Aidan Riggins transferred to ISU and is currently unranked at 165/174 Zach Glazier transferred to SDSU and is currently ranked #15
  19. Iowa state did the triple bump against Cornell a couple years back when Yonger was 197 in 2023. He bumped up to 285 and beat Lewis Fernandes. Marcus Coleman bumped to 197 and beat Jacob Cardenas. Joel Devine bumped to 184 and beat Evan Canoyer.

The brothers are very good. It will be interesting to see what happens with them. They seem to both march to the beat of their own drum so I wonder if there is a non-zero chance that they just focus on wrestling freestyle and forgo college altogether?
  21. Has anything been reported on what is going on with Kaleb Larkin? Is he expected to compete this year? Are him and his brother staying at ASU?
  22. Carter did not come off as arrogant as he did when he talked about pissing on people's graves. He did come across as quite mystic. He was talking about feeling the energy of the person's soul that he is wrestling and praying and looking for God to send him signs and such.
