I never finished higher than 4th in IL HS and never made it past the blood round, so by all objective measures in this conversation yes I was very much a scrub. Lighten up and have an extra ladle of gravy today.

Well that high school kid took down the olympic bronze medalist who was one ankle dive brain fart away from the gold medal match, so he is probably not a scrub like you and I were

Would Fix have won one with Taylor coaching?
bnwtwg replied to AgaveMaria's topic in College Wrestling
Touch grass and have some copium. Fix was never better than anyone in his peerset after high school and that isn't going to magically change. I wasn't throwing a fit at anyone but the idea that Taylor would magically turn Fix into "Probably 2-3x champ if taylor is his coach" is definitely some clown car ideology. He has had Smith's coaching since he was identified as a prodigy at seven years old and despite AJ Ferrari's worst intentions, Smith is a legendary coach who knows what the heck he is doing. Fix is good, there were simply wrestlers who were better during his seven years of attending Oklahoma State. So let's ask this a different way: do you think Taylor will outcoach Cael? Because RBY vs Fix would have been that stress test and your opinion is that Fix & Taylor would have beaten RBY & Cael. -
I'm the biggest Hendrickson stan around these parts but let's be honest: no one, NO ONE, has any frame or target or inside step or cardio or anything. Steveson playing with his prey is nasty. Levels and such. Steveson could jump levels, which is crazy to say, but nahh not anyone else in the US. https://www.flowrestling.org/video/10920845-125-kg-quarters-gable-steveson-gopher-wrestling-club-rtc-vs-wyatt-hendrickson-colorado

Vito? Nah, I'll take the multi-time world medalist FiX gOt A wOrLd MeDaL!!!!! Yeah, a few weeks after the olympics just like the streeeeebler elf. Let me give you this -> * Are Bee Why sucks! Cool, maybe try beating him. -
Yeah, it's called expectations. I am here for it, Mark Johnson would approve. We aren't here for KFC bottomless buffet coaches and lazy myehhhs anymore.

How is that Amos recruit doing? Probably about as well as Davis would have wasted him.

Pulled up lame on the track and TnT had to send him to the glue factory. Could have been the next Secretariaret, ended up on the Elmer's truck.

72 vo2 doesnt earn itself

Pop told him he could wrestle at NC State or he could keep the mohawk but he couldn't do both

Not just AA contender, there is a good chance at Lilledahl getting his hand raised Saturday night. He's that good and the bracket will be that busted.

Gable Steveson returns to college wrestling

It was hosted by the same platform as this message board -
I'm a Hopke truther. That kid is going to be the real deal and leave with at least two trophies when it's all said and done.
-
How it started: How it's going: I guess that sweet, sweet wrestling message board ad money gets to us all eventually.

Lotta bovine on the loose at the State Farm but sometimes a fella needs a slumpbuster early in the schedule to gain confidence so I hope the Illini are ready to chase some MUUUU tiger tail tonight

That's a net positive. Urbana isn't exactly known for it's fine champagne...

Given the rapid shift from linear (cable) to streaming, it was only a matter of time until these types of actions began to pop up in courtooms. Maybe this one gets tossed but there will eventually be a tipping point. The PR response from Netflix was something that wrestling fans have been dealing with for years and should sound very familiar. Flo better hope the judge is given a free lifetime Netflix account as part of the kickback to make this case go away. https://www.tmz.com/2024/11/19/netflix-sued-tyson-paul-stream-issues/ The streaming quality during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight was so bad, Netflix has actually just been hit with a class-action lawsuit over it, TMZ Sports has learned. Court documents we obtained show Ronald "Blue" Denton filed the suit in Florida on Monday ... just three days after he says he and thousands of others struggled to watch Netflix's broadcast of El Gallo's big win over Iron Mike. Denton claims that as soon as he and others tuned in to the broadcast at around 8 PM ET on Friday -- they "were faced with legendary problems, including: no access, streaming glitches, and buffering issues. Denton is suing Netflix for breach of contract, among other things ... and he's asking for unspecified damages. For Netflix's part, it hasn't publicly commented on the pending litigation ... although it did acknowledge in a statement Saturday there were issues with streams during the event. "We don't want to dismiss the poor experience of some members," Netflix officials stated, "and know we have room for improvement, but still consider this event a huge success."

Greco used to be boring. It's still boring now but it used to be too

It means that Starocci has been wrestling in NCAA finals for 15 years, even longer than his archrival Dr. Kemerererer

Real Woods was a 50/50 upper body exchange from an absolutely dominant undefeated season when Alirez won and look what happened to him last year against Mendez and 4 other people. No reason the same won't happen in 24-25 - it's why they wrestle the matches.

The crowd is just lending a helping hand to pick him up

Amit Elor is P4P the most dominant wrestler in the world. She is on a rare path to ascend to all-time conversation, only time will tell how the journey ends. -
Five pages of people reporting significant UI issues with photos to show the actual behavior disagrees with your opinion
-
@Husker_Du @BobDole As a generic customer persona user I would like to have expected full UI navigation functionality. Expected: I can view a page without being impeded, click links, and scroll without a shade blocker. Actual: due to UI advertisements I cannot explore the page or provide customer engagement. Do your job. It's not phucking hard. I know this because I have led digital operations for twenty years at F100 companies. Do I need to teach you how to write a user story, show you how to implement it, or ignore it and move on? Is this a red bike problem? The customer base gave a long grace period to the person who graciously does this pro bono out of the love of the sport but a spade is a spade. Shillie don't know $hitty

Hey @Husker_Du and @BobDole here is tonight's experience. It's not unfair to expect some modicum of a less than *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*-tastic experience. It was literally the entire f'ing screen. Also, your targeted ads provider has always been way off but that's your problem after you figure out the ads vs real estate problem.
