I was assured no one is above the law

Why would they need to show him the warrant. He is not the one that is the subject of the warrant. Wrong guy asking for the warrant. mspart -
Today, Homan reported that yesterday there were the smallest number of illegal entries ever, under 100. He compared that to Biden time where thousands were allowed in everyday. Which is better UB, RV, Trip? mspart

I read an opinion piece in The Hill website. This guy said that Padilla identifies himself and then asked his question and got tackled for it. That is not what the video showed. The video shows him approaching the secretary yelling something (presumably questions) and then gets man handled and is refusing to go with security so there is a struggle and then he identifies himself as Padilla. 1. You don't go to a press conference and approach the speaker. 2. You don't interrupt the speaker while they are in the middle of their statement. 3. Even if you are a sitting US Senator. 4. What happened to him would have happened to anyone doing the same thing. mspart

So UB, you are 0 for 3 definitely, and 0-6 most likely based on probably SCOTUS decisions. Historically, district courts can only deal with the case before them, applying only to their district. Yet there have been a huge number of district court injunctions against the Trump admin that go outside their district. So that is a Constitutional question that should be dealt with. mspart

I think they should be in uniform, without names on the uniform, but identified as ICE etc. Masks are ok to keep from creeps identifying them so they and their families are as safe from nefarious goons as possible. If, and I mean if, this is really happening, then there is no doubt someone will get shot for their own protection. By if, I mean I have not heard of this, but am not ruling it out as the law enforcement is trying to stay safe. mspart

They had 60 days to negotiate. Apparently they didn't. So Trump goaded them not to sign an agreement? mspart

Ouch!!!! That had to hurt! mspart

Do you not think that is a pretty good negotiating tactic, especially since many of his right hand men have been eliminated. They knew where they were and now they are gone. He is in a precarious position and owes his life to restraint or so Trump would have him believe. It would be a death wish to continue on the path he has been on, or so Trump would have him believe. Interesting that these religious islamists don't feel the need to keep their promises to the unwashed. Anything negotiated is not worth the paper that it is written on. Time and time again. How many times do they need to do this before we figure out their M.O. mspart

Yianni was the next coming when he entered college. He did great in college but never had the promised success in the world scene. Duke, a HS'er, beats him to make the World Team. Now that is really something. How would it be to be that good in HS? Wow! mspart

Might be hyperole on my part. But can you honestly say hi have not heard this quite often in the last year to now. The NO KINGSS protests come to mind. The Biden admin including Biden said this. AOC has said this. Schumer has pointed to it. Jeffries has alluded to it. Harris the same. You can't seriously say you haven't heard this. mspart -

What do we hear from D leadership every day all day? That Trump is a fascist, dictator wannabe, racist and all of MAGA are the same. All without any evidence. mspart -
You just described constitutional government. Not monarchy. Big time FAIL there RV. mspart

Iran claims to have shot down 3 F35 fighters
mspart replied to El Luchador's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
It will probably be a bloody civil war between the Islamists and the more freedom loving people. Turkey has been undergoing this for while now. Erdogan has pretty much succeeed in changing the Ataturk model of governance to a more islamist model of governance. And the people keep voting him in or he keeps messing with the vote so he wins. Probably the latter. I imagine Iran will stay islamist, they have a long history of decades in that mode. It may not be as hardline if this regime falls, but I think it will not be free as we think of it. But free-er maybe. mspart -
And you say this based on what? Biden wasn't necessarily mean to colored people, he just couldn't remember their names. javier baccaria, that guy that runs the pentagon, Ketanjp..... you've seen her. How is Trump mean to colored people? They voted for him more this time than last and prior. mspart

Apparently only you care. He's a murderer, lock him up. Or is there an exception in case he leans D? What say you? mspart -
From a google search: AI Overview In the United States, you do not need to register separately for local, state, and federal elections. One registration covers all levels of elections. Once you are registered to vote in your state, you can participate in all elections held within that state and county, including federal, state, and local contests. Key points: Single Registration: Registering to vote generally covers your eligibility for elections at all levels of government. State-Specific Rules: Each state has its own specific rules and deadlines for voter registration. You can find these rules on your state's election website or through resources like Vote.gov. Update Information: You should update your voter registration if you change your address, name, or political party affiliation (if required for primary elections in your state). National Mail Voter Registration Form: You can use the National Mail Voter Registration Form to register or update your information, but remember to follow your state's specific instructions. In summary, registering to vote once is sufficient for participation in all relevant elections within your jurisdiction, from local elections to the Presidential election.

Good for your son. I played piano, flute, french horn but they never grabbed me. I started on guitar at 16 and am still playing to this day. In fact I just bought an almost new 2024 Epiphone "inspired by Gibson" ES-335. Comes Thursday. That should be a fun time opening the box and plugging it in. mspart
