  11. For my district in Indiana at a school of 2,000 basketball head coach - $14,000 basketball assistant- $5,000 football head coach - $10,800 football assistant - $5,000 wrestling head coach - $5,000 wrestling assistant- $2,400 We are also the lowest in the state as an overall athletic department relative to our size…..
  12. It's still early in his career at Little Rock, but Neil Erisman has to be rising up the ranks with the job he is doing there.
  13. Bellarmine vs Presbyterian live right now on ESPN+ check out those effects
  14. Plugging Awry Brewing, come down to the meet & greet after the dual, it's owned by a local HS wrestling coach and pretty good
  15. You can upload your own custom thumbnail in addition to the suggested frames https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72431?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&oco=0
  16. I'm not a fan of the lack of a weight class between 215 and 285 - there should be something like 245 so we can keep football players that fall in the in-between range... The jump from 175 to 190 still feels a little strange However at least this year Indiana has adopted the new weight classes, last year they did not but Kentucky did so was a major headache with meets every week in each state.
  17. For the commentator, It’s bell er min , not bell er mean
  18. I love a good day trip up to Cincinnati, hitting up Jungle Jim’s, IKEA, and stopping for pizza next to campus. Bellarmine’s biggest issue will always be its cost and academics (to get in). However it’s a great campus, located pretty much in the heart of Louisville and right next to the Highlands, their wrestling room has upgrades in the future, and I think they are in a great spot for recruiting (you have the Indy/Cinci/Nashville sorta triangle) I don’t have much to say about Lindenwood, we always got the short stick at the other Lindenwood campus when it was still around.
  19. Last year they had Lindenwood at home, came down to the last match with Huff (current HWT) getting the win for Bellarmine They beat Kentucky Wesleyan, a D2, a few weeks ago for the home opener and have been on the road since Coach Shuck is building great things in Louisville
  20. The NAIA team I was on had a dual meet with IU and SIUE, along with going to the Michigan State Open Let me tell you there was a reason we were at an NAIA school and not going D1, the above highlighted those reasons..... not fun
  21. I wrestled at a now-defunct NAIA school and was below average wrestler I had a great time though! We were a Hard Knocks kinda program (alot of D1 got kicked out because of drugs transfers) and the school was throwing money at athletics (we had two wrestling houses and the country's ugliest football field)
  22. Kentucky Wesleyan at Bellarmine will be on ESPN+, for some reason it’s listed on the wrong day on ESPN+… This is Bellarmine’s last season before they can compete at NCAAs and their first home dual of the year. D2 Kentucky Wesleyan has a relatively new staff (their head coach first season in the role was last year) Should be a easy win for Bellarmine, but I’m not sure how their lineup will look with a lot of kids redshirting this year to take advantage of NCAA competition next year
  23. After this team does Andy Beshear try his hand at the Senate or does he jump into the national game? He has to wait a cycle if he wants to continue governorship While he doesn't have a mandate, he is pretty much loved by all, or at least if feels like it... the only negative remarks during this election were covid (and I mean those folks are voting for him anyway), that he was too nice, and not as progressive as some would like (so all nothing real)
  24. Kentucky has Big Bourbon and Indiana has Big Pharma - If those actually matter who knows but folks say it a lot over here I could see Kentucky going first before Indiana does though
