  1. The article does not draw conclusions or force an opinion on the reader. It is fairly comprehensive in what is discussed. Sarah Jacoby did a nice job. That is all.
  2. Your last couple comments are evidence that you are not as smart as you think you are. Evidence: The available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
  3. This article lays out the known and unknown nicely. https://www.today.com/health/news/imane-khelif-boxer-gender-eligibility-controversy-rcna164854
  4. This thread has a lot of projection that most people believe or care that the boxer could be tran. The first 'trans' projection is UB talking about Algeria law. My comments consistently state it is inappropriate for XY to fight XX, and that the evidence is clear that this boxer is XY due to objective, rational reasons. Objective Science data indicates a man punches 160% harder than a woman The IBA stated that test revealed she has XY The boxer has not disputed the claim, demanded transparency, etc. Subjective Looks like a man Competitors say she has the power of a man WKN is a logical person and says this is horrifically bad takes. "Horrific" is an emotionally negative word. I have said nothing emotional. Perhaps WKN is also projecting that I think or care if this boxer is trans, have something against woman, etc. I don't. A single point of evidence is not enough but the collective evidence of XY is there. As my first comment stated, it is unfortunate for the competitors but XYs should not be competing against XXs in boxing.
  5. Is this supposed to mean something? The articles read as if she is sorry for what her actions have brought to the boxer, who complies with the Olympic qualifications, however she still thinks the boxer is XY... It's sort of nice but doesn't change anything.
  6. Not a surprise at all! The occurrence is a tiny percentage applied against numerous athletes... more will be XY than folks are discussing. It is likely higher than the norm rate if we consider the performance advantage that XY offers and we're looking at a small pool of 'elites' within the female competition.
  7. If I am an elite wrestler that is banned because of an easily disproved conspiracy, you are damn right that I'm going to address it. And it seems common sense to me that anyone with the gusto to become an elite would do the same. No bias in any direction changes the evidence pointing to an XY boxer competing in the Olympics against XX women.
  8. What is in the boxer's control is testing and messaging. The XY chromosome doesn't fluctuate like testosterone levels. A test is affordable, the test results are available in a timely manner, and the cell collection process for analysis is simple.
  9. @WrestlingRasta Say more about that. What could the athlete possibly lose by showing the truth with evidence? Are they going to lose their ability to compete at Worlds? They already lost that.
  10. Could be! Seems illogical to me. If I was in their shoes, I would publicly share my test results such that the 'conspiracy' was exposed, and I would find someone willing to sue. And there would be those willing to take my case. I would shout out the BS and show my evidence in social media, interviews, etc.
  11. https://www.iba.sport/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/20240303-IBA-Technical-Competition-Rules-v7-clean.pdf https://tass.ru/sport/17370249
  12. 100% agree. Having the (common) opinion that there are two genders and otherwise abnormal defects is a rational opinion. Whether to call the condition a defect or not is based on social considerations rather than science. Men that grew up around women (sisters, mothers, girlfriends) don't need a study to know how much stronger men are than females on average. The data indicates the average man can bench 185lb and the average woman 80lbs. The data indicates that the average male punch is 164% more forceful than than average female. This is is not a surprise. This Algerian boxer appears to have raw and poor technique... an observer understands this is why she lost often early in her career and why she still loses on occasion.
  13. It does not matter if the boxer is or is not transgender, sex pref, passport gender, what is legal in the country, etc. All of that is a distraction that these females likely do have the xy chromosome. The rationality is clear. One boxer did not challenge the IBA action. One did and then dropped. One imagines this is a very big deal to these boxers. Boxing is their identity. If this was fake news, these boxers would reveal their test results to prove the case immediately after they were disqualified. And they would do so now asap. They did not and will not. And this will be the tell.
  14. And yet you know? Puuuuhlease. I don’t know the truth any more than you about these two or some IBA conspiracy. The IBA was atrocious with how they handled it mid competition. Still. The boxer looks like a male. She hits with the power of a male. The boxer has no-contests on her record due to test results. The evidence implies there is truth to the test results. If i’m misled on these two boxers because the IBA lied, that is on the IBA. 100% females with xy and high testosterone should not box biological females.
  15. Cisgender is a term used to describe people whose gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth.
  16. Kamala upset daddy with her identity politics. https://www.politico.com/story/2019/02/20/kamala-harris-father-pot-1176805
  17. That said... WTF is JD Vance? Why not go with Vivek!
  18. DEI hires are meant to increase diversity with a focus on race, gender, sexual orientation, and underrepresented groups. Pence is a white, cis, straight man that belongs to a well represented group. DEI was not it. Find a video or article where Trump said he would select a White Man for VP.
  19. Normal ranges of testosterone as less than 3.1 nanomoles per liter for women and more than 10 nanomoles per liter for men. Levels over 5 nanomoles per liter is excessive for women in boxing.
  20. Totally fine to require sex and drug testing for World and Olympic events - both for men and women.
  21. Would be fine. She doesn't look like a man any more than Amit. If personality is an indicator... tom boy... she very well could be XY. She definitely does not look manish like the XY boxer in question.
  22. The sources are the boxers! I cited two already here.
  23. My daughter has beast strength in wrestling. Her opponents have cursed their coaches. "Why don't you go out and ***ducking** wrestler her." She loses to weaker but better technical wrestlers. The XY boxer has lost to a few boxers, each with superior technical skill.
  24. Yes I can see the logic with how the 9 losses discounts multiple competitors quitting the match and saying the XY boxer punches harder than they have ever faced (including men they spar with). FFS.
  25. If you look like a man and punch like a man, then yes its fair to test you. Sort of like guys that hit home runs get tested for performance enhancers.
