Meyer Shapiro Steroids Accusation
jross replied to Indiana-Hawk-Wrestling-Fan's topic in College Wrestling
Your daughter seems like the exception for even high school softball. Thin like she never hit puberty. What height! My freshman has been 5’2 125lbs since 11. Went from “Krusher” to “Kate.” From the tallest and thickest to the most petite on her team. Lean; not fat. No shade. Congrats to your daughter on success. -

Kasak has had face acne for years; it isn’t new. Hamiti is tall; not thick. KOT has deceptive functional strength; not showy strength. He lost as a freshman because of strength. Haines looks like a Greek statue in comparison. -

Aye! This knocked me from the R12 to a dark horse that went zero and barbeque. Even the swimmer outperformed me. -

This seems impractical and there are many questionable statements that warrant questioning. It is possible and if someone had the access and finances to do it, surprisingly it appears Tony is the right guy for the job. Tony is wealthy... And this is what he does... -

We care because even a modest dose of testosterone can boost muscle growth by up to a pound per week, without weightlifting. 20 week study... Best quote "This guy gained more muscle (31lbs) in 5 months of juicing, without lifting, than a professional did in 15 years of natural lifting." The easiest giveaway besides rapid muscle gain is the ridiculous size in upper traps and delts. Acne alone "IS NOT" a likely indicator for a college wrestler. Hormones, stress, and hygiene are likely. Kasak was already strong in 2024... And here he is in 2023 with acne https://www.instagram.com/tylerkasak/p/CyLuJW_Mhik/ And 2024 https://www.instagram.com/tylerkasak/p/C4asFE2MI9u/ ...not enough evidence for me on Kasak ...not even to speculate I have also been impressed with Shapiro's success because he looks undersized... dude is frustrated... maybe he should hit the gym harder or drop a weight class. KOT didn't complain about strongmen, rather he recognized that he himself needed to get stronger after his freshmen year. -

As a 17 year old senior, my in season weekly cut was an easy 180 to 171. Last day of school I weighed 190. After working outside in June and accidental fasting, I weighed 167 for a July wrestling tournament. Within four months of starting college baseball that August. I weighed 195 and was 5.1% body fat. My diet was all I could eat in the college cafe to fuel workouts. I had previously cut enough weight to have the sunken cheeks and have a hospital visit. Adding weight is much simpler than cutting. So does adding 20 lbs in a year indicate foul play? Nope, not by itself. I don’t think the 157 to 174 pounder was taking PEDs… looks natural to me. He lacks the tell tale signs of roids… -

One guy made the jump from 157 to 174 and looks like the strongest guy in the higher weight class. He has the exaggerated traps, delts, and pecs. I raised an eyebrow... but he doesn't have the cannonball shoulders... so maybe he just ate normal and "worked hard." -
maybe 2-3

Mesenbrink pointing at the line when his opponent was six inches off of it. If you play it back, it also looks like he was calling his shot. Like pointing at one foot and then the other. Off the whistle, Mesenbrink did exactly that with a misdirection shot. Anyone recall the match?

Hello folks. Wouldn't it be interesting to know more about the backgrounds and accomplishments of the wrestlers who competed in the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships? Can we look for detailed info on each wrestler... especially the standout All-Americans? Can you help provide answers to these questions... either from your knowledge or any reliable sources you can point me to? What were their best international results at any level across any style? Did they ever make a U.S. national team, like the Junior or Cadet World Team? What were their best college national results before 2025? What were their best results across major high school tournaments (e.g., state, Super 32, Fargo, Who's #1)? What were their best results across major youth tournaments (e.g., state, nationals, Fargo)? What is a remarkable fact about them (e.g., never taken down in high school)? At what age did they first start wrestling, and how many years of wrestling experience did they have by the 2025 NCAA Championships? Was their high school a wrestling powerhouse in their state and nation? Have they changed schools at any age to train with a better team or coach? Thanks hoss. In all fairness to them Happy Valley hayseeds, it was crab night at the Wok... legs rippin’, butter spillin’, and them PSU crybabies still howlin’ like JB torched their last biscuit with his gold-medal gospel...

The crew said rob won on counterattacks earlier. This is why nobody did anything. If Sprat wins; he does not care what the viewers think. Smart. … but yuck

Yes we really should copy the better parts from freestyle, while keeping it folkstyle.

Pablo, you’ve put words in my mouth I never said. I didn’t claim takedowns are all that matter or that I don’t care about pinning. Please stick to what I wrote. I’m all for aggressive wrestling, and my entertainment rankings show it: Defender reversal from their back directly to having their opponent on their back Aggressive Neutral wrestling to take the opponent from feet to back Aggressive top wrestling in an attempt to pin Tie Aggressive Neutral wrestling to score a standard takedown Defender reversal Defender earned escape Top wrestling for control without trying to pin (riding time) Aggressive wrestling defended from any position that results in zero points Top wrestler gifts a free escape point Neutral wrestlers not engaging Bottom wrestler not engaging (turtling) Purposely pushing action out of bounds Purposely fleeing the mat Purposely touching the floor to be out of bounds Here’s how I rank them by challenge to execute: Defender reversal from their back directly to having their opponent on their back Aggressive Neutral wrestling to take the opponent from feet to back Defender reversal from bottom Aggressive wrestling defended from any position that results in zero points Aggressive top wrestling in an attempt to pin Aggressive Neutral wrestling to score a standard takedown Defender earned escape from bottom Top wrestling for control without trying to pin (riding time) Purposely pushing action out of bounds Top wrestler gifts a free escape point Neutral wrestlers not engaging Bottom wrestler not engaging (turtling) Purposely fleeing the mat Purposely touching the floor to be out of bounds I’d prefer takedowns and reversals both at 2 points, with escapes at 0; returning to Neutral is reward enough for an escape, and I don’t see why it needs points tacked on. The 3-point takedown was a solid change, though; it creates a clear two-point gap from the escape, which I like. To you point on challenge reflected by points: why do we award more for a free escape than for defending a takedown from the crackdown position, which takes skill?
