Are they going to vote again today?   Is Jordan going to put an arm bar on anyone?   1/2 Nelson?   Full Nelson?   Why is it called a Nelson anyway?

    mspart

He's currently down on bottom and was part of the Ohio State wrestling program for a time being.  What in the world makes you think he has any chance escaping this with a victory?

Ooof... can we use that word?

Seems like one of those that are taboo and shall not be used. Very much like c*** - or n*****

Since we have most all the judgmental of posters assembled right here in this thread... we need a taboo decision.

Can we get a verdict on this?

I'm guessing you've never been to England

  3. @BobDole Here it is for you to finally end this thread

@Ban Basketball you've posted the most insanely idiotic things we have ever heard. At no point in your ramblings, incoherent responses were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having listened to you. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

Hamas official Ali Baraka says, "Our allies are ready to join the fight."

Not gonna happen.  Hamas is done for the next couple years or until another off shoot takes its place.  Would like to add that Israel by no means is innocent in this conflict

What's everyone's take on this?  First thing I'll say is it is absolutely horrible.  But as much as I try to understand the Gaza strip I still don't understand the hate.  And I hope the US stays out of it.

Don't know if it's been stated yet but the US cannot stay out of this conflict.  Their involvement is important.  Their are many reasons but at this point their backing of Israel deters Iran's involvement.

I don't know. We are assuming Corby is a faithful narrator, or whoever told him is a faithful narrator. A coach can say "if it doesn't work out and you enter the portal, we will still be interested" and have it interpretted differently.

WKN Can you give me a synopsis of where we are at with this thread?  Too lazy to start from the beginning.  Thanks!

I may be in the minority here, but I don't think Ferrari loses to Kerkvliet if those rumors of him not having a chance to reach 197 are true.

Kerkvliet is the perfect type of heavyweight that would manhandle Ferrari.  Hes extremely tall, long, and athletic

I think Iowa gets 3 wins. 141 and then two out of 125/133/157/165/HWT.

is starocci going to wrestle for sure? If he doesn’t wrestle does Facundo go 174? I feel like Facundo was pretty long and lean and 165. I wonder if the pull to 165 was difficult and he would make a jump in results going up a weight. He’s surely talented and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him in the mix at 174 if CStarr was gone.

So Iowa by a little winning a minimum 7 matches.  PSU maybe gets 3.  1 if they're lucky

Listing to FRL - mention of Shapiro as a real title threat at 157.  Even that he is a favorite.

157 seems pretty deep.  Feel like I’m missing something.  I know Shapiro wrestled college guys last year and did well.  But did he beat anyone upper echelon?  For those that he did beat, was it with severe authority?

Curious to hear the case for him being at least a top two favorite to win 157.

The kid is an absolute stud and of all the recruits out there Shapiro was on the top of list for myself and everyother PSU fan.  Shame Cael didn't get him but he's going to do very well in the Cornell program and be a great representative for USA wrestling one day.  Kid's special

  10. @nhs67...you need to dress your thread with hot topic issues to gain decent conversation.  Throw in hot topics like Gambling, Portal, Nil, @Ban Basketball, liberals are whiny wimps,  as a defense lawyer @VakAttack only represents those that he knows are guilty and works diligently to get them off all charges, for me personally got to throw in a Cinnabon party foul,  something for PSU fans so @Interviewed_at_Weehawken can get into another argument about Cael & company, and something about D11 in PA to get @flyingcementto participate.  Surprised @ionel hasn't posted yet.  He's our Bubbles from the Wire and appears everywhere

If someone believes that this is an outrageous crime for which a year of lost eligibility is appropriate, I would be curious to hear their rationale.  The insider information piece has been covered by Vak already.  Anything else we're missing?

I personally think that the crime isn't outrageous at all but at the same time it isn't as if Nelson didn't know the rules.  He just didn't think he'd get caught.  That's an entirely different conversation that Nelson backers such as yourself, @Wrestleknownothing, & @VakAttack appear to be glossing over.
