I once met Ban at the national duals in 2008, guys was a feeble little man back then.

Keep forgetting to ask but every time I see one of your post I always wonder if you're friends with Steely Dan?

    Haven't heard this in CBUS.

We knew he had colon surgery and had some sort of spinal injury and he was going to have to go to rehabilitation facility.  Posted a pic of him and his parents sometime last week. Things can change in a flash though.

Mineo posted it on his twitter feed but I'm assuming he's just regurgitating what was posted on HR.  Wishing @Husker_Ducould update us

This is me with my tinfoil hat on... which I don't typically wear... that said I don't even support this theory just acknowledging that it could be true:

    TheMat JC =/= Intermat JC

The data is there to support this.

He was an avid Hawkeye fan in his early days at TheMat and then went to a 'Penn State' fan... while actually just being a troll and not an actual fan.

Here he has picked up on that but mellowed a significant amount on the trollinese.  He was actually responding to the 'pay your debts' in some regards before and here he ignores it.

This could legitimately be like the Avril Lavigne 'body double replacement' poppycock.

I don't necessarily think it is.  Evidence might say otherwise depending on the eyes that are scrutinizing it.

Here's another theory.  JC is following a similar character arc as Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman and is now Gene Takovic.  Eventually he'll be posting on this forum from ADX Montrose

  5. @Husker_Du can you update us on the Sammy situation?  Saw this on HR

Initially, after the surgeries they thought things looked good. But, after a few days, they found out Sammy could not walk without aid, and the new outlook was he would go to a rehab facility, but things were still looking good. It turns out he has lost a lot of weight, and they found out his colon was perforated or torn either from the gunshots, or during a surgery,
and he has been excreting/leaking from it. This has caused an infection (peritonitis). They tried to repair his colon, it, but it doesn't sound like they were able to...(?)
and there are concerns due to his weight loss and weakness from the infection that he may not be able to handle another surgery just yet. To make matters worse, he has yet to respond to the antibiotics used to treat the infection. The situation is very serious. Let's keep Sammy and the Sasso family in our thoughts and prayers.

How does one "obviously" explain how Flo Wrestling is so much bigger than intermat?  They cover

wrestling at all levels.  Each brings something different to the table which makes both a good read.

Couldn't imagine how discontented one must be in life to obsess over Cinnabon, let alone me.

Never insults or attacks anyone,  but gets vilified by angry people for being a broken record

Did Jimmy & Ban hookup to produce a poster offspring?  🤔

Maybe.  I see Maxwell more of the pale horse of the apocalypse for Cinnabon.  Looking forward to him posting on Cinnabon posts

You all realize Cael is Mormon, right? And almost all of the wrestlers he coached are an entirely different religion than he is (only exception I can think of is Matt Brown). So he is clearly not promoting his own religion. Gus nailed it… he simply creates that atmosphere for his athletes and it clearly helps to believe in something bigger than yourself.

Never met a wrestler who didn't wish that with the strength of the blood of Christ Cael would wrestle the Mohammed out of Ali

  10. In March, the six-session attendance total dipped to 95,295, the lowest figure for the tournament in nine years, with the exception of 2021 when attendance was capped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maybe don't have the finals in a location that is inconvenient to get to?  A layover plus a 1 1/2 hour drive from Oklahoma City, and limited activities outside the arena doesn't get one too excited

Exactly.  Here is a clip of Cael showing that identity is not at all tied to results on the mat.

Cael was demonstrating what has been preached in the gospel

    Matthew 21:12-13

    Jesus at the Temple

12 Jesus entered the temple mats and drove out all who were scoring and reffing there. He overturned the tables of the scorers table and the benches of those selling match points. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of wrestling,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of boxing promoters.’[b]

May I refer you to the official website of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with the article "Joseph Smith saw the Prophet Saw God and Jesus in First Vision"

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today numbers more than 14 million. Latter-day Saints revere Joseph Smith as a prophet, just as they revere biblical prophets such as Moses and Isaiah."

So luckily you and I agree that it's a poophole loophole. No false commonwealth prophets!

I am not familiar with the official stance of the Latter-day Saints.  I'm only referencing what was agreed upon at the Council of Porta John New King James

Loophole: Joseph Smith was just a man. But also a prophet. But also no false prophets. 🤯

Joseph Smith is not a prophet.  Technically he's "Prophet Related".  See below for clarification

The designation establishes the proohet as an "instrumentality of the Lord Jesus Christ"[1] and provides each Prophet with annual, non-preferred[2] financial appropriations in exchange offering spiritual discounts to parishoners who are residents of the planet earth and a minority state-representation on each churches board of trustees. Legally, the Prophet remains separate and a private entity operating under their own charters, governed by independent boards of councils and with assets under their own ownership and control, thereby retaining much of the freedom and individuality of private congregations both administratively and spiritually."
