Here is my issue with all of this. First, I'm all for getting into a little sparring session with China. They're a terrible government (don't tell their stan @red viking). But, the 75 other countries would've come to the table to negotiate without this spectacle. And that is exactly what this is. It's irresponsible and is only being done to feed one person's ego.

Even with Trump in office our Federal Government is still fairly liberal in the sense of granting many freedoms. Comparing or even suggesting there are similarities with the CCP is quite the stretch. We very well might be living in the tail end of a political Golden Era (The Era of the Grand Bargains) but we have quite a bit to go.

No one here knows the full story. You @VakAttack, etc do not have the actual details. Another "rumor" out there was Tom told Rocco they'd have a talk when he got back from Aruba and that was the final straw. @MPhillips or @RandolphTJones who are dialed in on the tOSU might laugh at that for being absurd. I get that it's a forum and we're having fun but people are on here and other sites posting their theories as fact. I was told Rocco reached out to PSU. Is that true?
