  1. The highest ranked out of conference win by any SEC team this year? The Louisville Cardinals.
  2. Nah. They don't. https://nypost.com/2023/12/04/news/biden-got-recurring-1380-payments-from-hunter-firm-in-2018/ Basically, there were a total of three payments made to Joe Biden from his son which, again, appears to be Hunter repaying his father, this time for car payments. But they used the word "monthly" as if this amount was being sent to him every month since 2018. Hilarious.
  3. There is no 40k from Hunter to Joe. There is 40k from Jim to Joe, after Joe gave 40k to Jim.
  4. Two one-loss power 5 conference over an undefeated power 5 conference champion isn't antithetical to how college football has worked? It's literally the first time this has happened under this system.
  5. Exactly. What happened yesterday is antithetical to how sports typically work.
  6. From the CFP website.
  7. For literally all of college football history, this is true. Nobody has ever said it shouldn't be a factor, this is a huge strawman.
  8. No idea, I'm not sure who will bother playing, the game means nothing and many of FSUs best players are draft eligible. ETA: also, that's the reason they play the games. Why did they bother to play the SEC championship game? UGA was a goodly favorite.
  9. What is the bad argument FOR FSU?
  10. It would, except Bama has similar results on their ledger, AND a loss, and came much closer to losing against an equivalent Auburn team [who just got blown out by New Mexico State] than FSU came to losing Florida.
  11. Under the argument they're using on ESPN, why wouldn't Georgia be over FSU also? Hell, why rank FSU in the top 6 at all? Totally inconsistent just to get to a desired result. College football fans can miss me forever with their "college is better because ALL the games matter" argument from here on out. My point, @WrestlingRasta, is that last week Bama needed a miracle to beat Auburn. They struggled mightily against A&M, Arkansas, and USF, all mediocre to bad teams. This week they were great, no doubt, but it's not supposed to be a one week sport. They looked very bad literally LAST WEEK.
  12. Don't lose at home by 10. This is college football. I don't need an eyeball test for that, there's an L in that column. But again, people advocating for Bama are just insisting we focus on what happened yesterday. That's not even the QB FSU would be rolling out there in the CFP.
  13. They might, but that's what it would be....a screwing.
  14. I love howwith Bama we6re just pretending the only performance that counts is the last one. We don't have to count the loss to TX by 10 points AT HOME or the crap performance against USF, or barely squeaking by a terrible Arkansas team, or needing a miracle to beat a bad Auburn team. This is college football, where all the games are supposed to matter.
  15. This is the most logical outcome. SEC isn't the dominant force it has been, most of the SECs best wins are against other SEC teams, so there's no way to know how good they take are this year.
  16. There's no way to know. They only play each other. The one time Alabama played a tough out of conference game, they got whipped at home by Texas. The SEC is a tautology of college football dominance.
  17. If FSU wins, I think it should be Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas.
  18. I think those are two different arguments. Ranking vs predicting future match ups. To be clear, I'm not saying I agree with Flo's ranking process on this issue; I don't.
  19. Aged like milk, lol.
  20. I'm ready to say it (I know I'm not the first): Meyer Shapiro, 2023-24 NCAA champ at 157 lbs.
  21. BTW, here's Comer saying, out loud, that "we can bring these people in for depositions or Committee hearings, whichever they choose." And then, when ol' Hunter took him up on it, that changed. WEIRD! The man is just seemingly constantly searching for rakes to step on.
  22. That is, of course, not true. Extensive reporting on this matter to show these were loan repayments from monies Joe lent to Jim on a short term basis, once in July of 2017 and once in January of 2018 (and that even elides past the part it's alleged to have occurred when Joe Biden was a private citizen). https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/31/politics/fact-check-evidence-supports-democrats-case-that-joe-biden-made-a-personal-loan-to-his-brother/index.html https://www.factcheck.org/2023/10/cherry-picking-influence-payment-from-james-to-joe-biden/ https://www.newsnationnow.com/danabramslive/abrams-comer-biden-bombshell-check/
  23. ....I believe he is saying Hunter Biden is a person of privilege, you weirdos, lol. Even if you don't believe in "white privilege", are you now claiming that Hunter Biden is not a person of privilege?
  24. Many reasons. The Occam's Razor reason would be it's way to most directly tell his story without requiring "spinning" from either side. if it's just him talking, nobody can "misquote" him. It will just be "Hunter Biden says 'X'", not "Jim Comer says Hunter Biden said 'Y'" or "Jamie Raskin says Hunter Biden said 'Z'".
