  1. Then get the votes to amend the Constitution.
  2. Because I don't have the ability to time travel. And because I don't know that the prior presidents didn't follow our rules or court orders, no matter how many unsourced charts you copy and paste.
  3. I'm sorry you don't like how America is supposed to run. Maybe you should move to Hungary or Russia.
  4. Then prove it in court. If it's so obvious, seems like a slam dunk to just give the man the hearing he (and others) are entitled to.
  5. Maybe you should find evidence of something before establishing that something is a fact. And maybe stop trying to to divert attention from the current, very real illegal things the current administration is doing in sending these people, the vast majority of which do not have any serious criminal record, to a prison where they have no idea when (or even if) they'll ever be released.
  6. ...I don't care, I didn't vote for Obama in either election (McCain in 08, Johnson in 12), and criticize away. He's not president right now though, so I don't care what he did 15 years ago anywhere near as much as I do about the people being harmed right now, in this moment.
  7. Why, is he president?
  8. All of you with the seeming inability to not understand the simple fact that, in our country, one of the founding tenets is that everybody is entitled to due process, i.e. the government can put forward evidence in court of law. So Charlie Kirk finding a video from a traffic stop where he wasn't arrested in TENNESSEE (not exactly a bastion of liberalness) as evidence of another crime that he wasn't charged with doesn't mean anything. If you have evidence that is real and holds up to scrutiny, put it in front of a court. That's how our system is supposed to work. Not just a random group with no scrutiny just deciding who gets sent to a prison in another country, a prison designed for terrorists whom local El Salvadoran officials have boasted that "nobody leaves unless it's in a coffin". That lack of belief in America and basic humanity is startling.
  9. https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/fact-check-lists-claiming-hundreds This site and it's sister site shewon.org have been repeatedly debunked and they refuse to share how they're getting their information. They just crowdsource and then "do independent research to verify". Both databases, for example, still listed Imane Khelif, the Algerian female boxer, despite zero evidence that she is anything other than born a woman and lived her whole life as a woman. They count one person multiple times, even from the same event date and time. Hugely problematic and, of course, BS. I do like how they're pretending in the posted Tweet that this website is some brand new thing.
  10. I see that. I'm glad, it seems so obviously stupid that I want to laugh...except it's Minnow leading the charge, so I know he probably really thinks it, and also is able to convince himself that it's different for the PSU guys to root for Ono over Lee.
  11. LOL, funny enough, I did! #ImFamousNow #NicheFamous #NotActuallyFamous
  12. Agreed. After watching the fight, Bo just got straight bullied. Wrestling in the MMA context is different than just wrestling (obvious statement, I know) because you can get punched, kicked, and kneed. Bo got whooped here, he can bounce back but it will require some humility in assessing what he needs to shore up.
  13. I never have. Nor will much of anything come from this. DOGE hasn't found fraud or theft, it (and the administration, and many Americans) don't agree with.
  14. The unmitigated gall to demand that Iowa fans have to root for Bo Nickal in the UFC, lol. I don't personally care, I only check in on MMA these days when a high level wrestler is going, but Bo spends a lot of time, up into the most recent wrestling season, talking sh!t about the Iowa program. I wasn't rooting for him to lose (or win for that matter) but if a bunch of Iowa fans rooted against him...well he earned that. And apparently he's running a "I'm better than you" heel persona, which has (from my reading of the Tweets last night) not endeared him to the pure MMA fans, either.
  15. I hate to break this to you, but he doesn't have a cousin on Penn State either. Anyway, Melvin Miller hasn't committed anywhere...yet.
  16. Be skeptical, I suppose. Bo said when he was committing that it was a decision based on where his brothers (Keegan and Melvin) would be comfortable as well. Not a guarantee, obviously.
  17. LOL WTF are you talking about?
  18. Yeah, but what did those guys know?
  19. Due process means different things within the context of the type of interaction you're having with the legal system. Most generally, you can understand it to mean that a person is entitled for a judge or magistrate to hold hearings and make findings after hearing arguments presented from both sides of an issue. So it's not really a "more or less due process" situation. For example, my clients charged with a new crime are entitled to a trial; however, my clients who are charged with violating their probation are entitled to a contested hearing (no jury, lower standard of proof). Both are due process.
