Several could lose in the semis. The only ones I see possibly losing in the quarters are SVN (Evans/Swiderski) or Bastida (Mirasola).

Strickenberger could be a tough second round match for Lilledahl 157 thru 285 should be chalk with Duke having the most competition to the final. Four more-- Hardy, Henson, O'Toole, and Steveson-- lost in the finals. Only three #1 seeds won it all: Byrd, Messenbrink, and Starocci. Let's set some over/unders for #1 seeds based on last year: 1.5 lose in quarters or earlier 3.5 lose in semis or earlier 3.5 are champions 1

Eagle26 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Possibly losing in rd 16: Van Ness to Frost (not likely but possible) Possible losses in quarters: LL to Peterson Van Ness to Swiderski Duke to Cannon/Cardenas Bastida to Mirasola/ Kueter (most likely IMO but still less than 30% chance) None of these are super likely but I see them all as possibilities. There are several toss ups in Semis. If I had to pick one I’m most confident in, it’s Seidel over Forrest
