That's not what they're talking about. Their officers are being stopped and asked for papers off duty. They're not protestors.

So help me understand this.    She was a cop.   Driving a car without 

a) a drivers license 

and 

b) her badge.  
 

I’ve never ever seen a cop in public without their badge.  

This is what I’m supposed to believe?

then after just saying I’m a cop… or did she show her badge…. they wandered off and let her go.  

this is the outrage… not fascist stopping Leo from deporting murderers  and rapists.

Yeah, I'm not really buying this one.   Like the guy ushered out in his underwear.   I read that in the news and thought, that is weird.   Weird is right, that he was harboring 2 illegal aliens with rap sheets.    That adds to the story.  I don't feel so sorry for him now.  Lucky that guy was right there to take that picture though don't you think?

Except that.......there is absolutley zero record of that actually being true.  He lives in the home with his son, daughter in law, and grandson.   None of the occupants of the house have a criminal record or offender registration.  The DHS says they were looking for two illegal offenders, however those offenders do not live in the home nor have connection to the occupants of the home.   They busted in, without a warrant, and dragged out an innocent man.   This is why we have laws and constitutional rights in our country. This is why those laws and constitutional rights led to warrants being required for actions such as this.   As I said before, I am 100% in favor of getting the bad guys and dealing with them appropriately.  But I am also 100% for America and what we stand for, what we were built on.

Standard practice is for federal govt to work with local levels of govt when they try to do work in a specific city. You're going to run into problems 110% of the time when you try to bully everybody around. These guys are complete idiots.

Rasta, I'm only going on what I have read.  If none of what I read is true and what you are saying is true, then that was wrong absolutely.

That was standard practice until the locals went sanctuary and WILL NOT work with the federal gov.   Yes it would be better if there was good cooperation on all sides.   But locals have made that impossible.
