Often longevity data is used to show America in a bad light because we score poorly against other developed countries. However, when the data is further analyzed by race and culture the findings show American blacks live lknger than Africans, American Latinia do better than Cental and South Anericans, American Japanese live longer than their Nipponese counterparts, etc. The same is true, of course, in standard of living. I suspect the same is true of IQ. But I would like to see the data. People who tolerate me on a daily basis . . . they are the real heroes.
