Seriously, why would ISU want to win something that looks like this? It's like putting a turd in your trophy case.

Norman should've stuck to paintings. The heads of all the people in that sculpture are grossly oversized.

Oh God! Is that the trophy? Dear Lord. Can both teams forfeit or opt out?  No wonder ISU doesn’t wanna win it…

As a new poster here and a PSU fan please do your best to be respectful.  A) it's just a trophy B) Now we'll get 10 pages of @Interviewed_at_Weehawken going after you and I'll have to check him on his insanity even though you fired the first shot

Have you ever seen the Land Grant trophy PSU plays MSU for in football??  It’s looks like something from the Kurt Russell classic, The Thing.

It’s less of a shot, and more of a Good Will Hunting “it’s not your fault” hug. I’m thinking of starting a horrible rivalry trophy support group and both Iowa and ISU fans are welcome.

Of all of the shocking things this dual can produce, Endene majoring Elam would be high on the list of shockers.

Iowa does not score enough for majors....I will be surprised if there is more than one major in the whole match. A lot of 6-3 matches.

I'd certainly be shocked if that happened. I wouldn't be nearly as surprised if Elam majored Endene.

Match to look out for in my opinion is Euton vs Caliendo. Euton wrestled him super tough last year and has had a great start to the season, I think he is really talented and may be a guy that can push to AA not calling an upset but if you are an Iowa fan I would keep in the back of your mind that you could be sweating during that one.

165: Mikey Caliendo dec Connor Euton
174: Patrick Kennedy dec MJ Gaitan
184: Angelo Ferrari dec Isaac Dean
197: Rocky Elam dec Massoma Endene
285: Yonger Bastida dec Ben Kueter

15-15  Iowa wins based on more points scored (thanks to Caliendo who nearly majored Euton)

My mind is blown, well not really. But did anyone see/hear Frost has beat Paniro twice now in wrestle offs? It is a good thing and a bad thing to be deep. The Frost brothers are AA, and they are fighting to get in this lineup. 125-149 is stacked. Osmany is sitting back, wondering what happens to him. That dude is REALLY good, but he got big and he is caught in that 133-141 battle. When NIL/Portal this is where it is hard for kids to stay.

That would be interesting, a tie. Tiebreaker is usually whichever team had the most takedowns, right?

A lot matches are toss ups. 157 ISU/165 Hawks/174 Hawks/184 Hawks I think are as close to locks as you can have.

I guess the biggest prediction is that neither Elam or Kueter will even compete.  Gotta think the Hawks will win by 6 or so 18-12.
