Wrong again. I know you have to defend your family's honor, but bo just isn't that good and will be exposed at the D1 level. 2 time AA is still really good. don't get your dauber down.

how can he be exposed at the d1 level after winning a d1 tournament lmao

If Bo Bassett doesn't ever do anymore than AA two times I will delete my whole ass account.....WrestlingRash sucks

1.
Originally Rhetoric.
  1. 1.a.
    1502–
As a mass noun. The expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect; esp. (in earlier use) the use of approbatory language to imply condemnation or contempt (cf. sarcasm n.). In later use also more generally: a manner, style, or attitude suggestive of the use of this kind of expression. Cf. ironia n.
The meaning in quot. a1657 is obscure.
    See also Romantic irony n.
The precise application of the term has varied over time and remains the subject of much discussion. Irony is first recorded as a rhetorical figure used in sentences and (later) extended pieces of writing having a particular tone and intent. In 20th-cent. criticism the application of irony has expanded to encompass non-verbal expression in fields such as art and music where it denotes a distancing from and playful engagement with what has come before. For a fuller discussion see E. N. Hutchens ‘The Identification of Irony’ in ELH (1960) vol. 27 352-63 and N. Knox The Word 'Irony' & its Context, 1500–1755 (1961).
1.b.1534–As a count noun. An instance of this; an ironic utterance or expression.

2.1502–Dissimulation, pretence; esp. (and in later use only) feigned ignorance and disingenuousness of the kind employed by Socrates during philosophical discussions (see Socratic irony n.); an instance of this. Cf. eiron n.

    3.1833–
A state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what was or might be expected; an outcome cruelly, humorously, or strangely at odds with assumptions or expectations.

if he couldn't hack it at Iowa before he even tried, what makes you think he can make it at all?

See dude, just walk away...I think Bo could take 149 at Iowa this year and it wouldn't be close.  That's not even a statement on his overall career capabilities, but do you really have that much faith in Estrada or Block?  Keep the conversation at a reality level at least.

he barely beat Aden Valencia, who just lost to some random UVU guy. Bassett is a top 30 guys, but anything beyond that is a real stretch. He is the biggest bust since Yao Ming.

Even if he's a top 30 guy...doesn't he still take out Block or Estrada 🤣?

All I am saying is he looks physically outmatched and the rigor of a 35 match season against men will wear on that body type. He also got pinned by Zepeda that year. I am happy to be wrong, but something tells me this is a sparkle and fade situation. No time champ and 2 time AA is my guess.

can you please put my whole prediction in your sig? 2 time AA 1 time champ.

So by your own admission you've underestimated his abilities and now think he will be better than you previously had thought?

Got it.

Just an update after BF and the Bucknell dual. Campbell is now 5-0 with all bonus wins, Bo teched his way through BF with wins over Latona and Bartlett, Melvin lost to Ian parker 10-4 and Henson 8-6, and Henson took bronze losing only to kasak in a in my opinion terribly officiated match. Negatives would be that big Jim Mullen does not look like a point scorer as of right now.

Jaden Bullock took a pretty bad L against bucknell , he’s doesn’t look like a point scorer this year…Any chance Burton over takes Church this year at 165?

it was a surprise they didn't have him in the dual. Maybe with cambell looking like a hammer they redshirt seidel and burton.

Mulvaney is pretty good so I do not think that is a terrible loss for Church, it seems like they are really punting this year and trying to get as many years of their young guys with Bassett and Miller as possible so I would guess he shirts. National duals should only count as one event though so I bet we see him there.

Burton is definitely in the mix at 165, they're being strategic with his dates, think they want to see more than a dual. Expect him at CKLV or Keystone Classic.

Seidel was probably the favorite to jump in at 133 right away but DC looks like an AA. Only issue is a RS for Seidel doesn't do him much good. We're hopeful he can bump to 141 and then RS when Bassett gets here. Speaking of Bassett, all the anti-Bassett takes continue to age like milk.

I updated the potential 2027-2028 rosters with Iowa's new recruits.  With the new commits Iowa appear to have a top 25 recruit at at least 8 of ten weights. I know some said Iowa's recruits are stock down since high school.  I only really had Block fitting that definition and he beat #6 Josh Edmond today so maybe that's no longer the case.

At VT Campbell and Burton are definitely stock up to start the season.  Probably Sasso and Nininger too but both are inconsistent.  Mullen is definitely stock down from last year so far.

Iowa is probably still ahead in 2028.
