Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Everyone else may need to go down (Dake) or up in weight (Hidlay, Starocci, Marsteller, McCenelly) after Zahid's dominance ... though they might not do so

i don't think zahid had a point scored on him all tournament

such a massive improvement

TEAM USA!!!

That's absolutely true!

10-0 over Dahiya India, Benferdjallah of Tunisia, Samsusonok, Latvia, 7-0 over Ghasempour, Iran & 11-0 over Ishiguro, Japan.

Lot of technical points scored here.

Awesome performance.

Hidlay definitely isn't going down. Martsteller probably can't make 79 effectively anymore and has probably peaked. Starocci could very well be the next Nolf/Ringer on the senior circuit. McEnally appears to be next up and on trajectory to be Zahid's biggest competition between now and April 2028.

The US has wrestled spectacularly for the most part.  Three kids 21 and under with one already guaranteed a medal, one wrestling for bronze and the other had a respectable showing.   Zahid and Hidlay looked great in making the finals.   Hendrickson was a result of the top US hwts not being healthy and good Lord knows what was going on in Steveson's head.

The only real disappointment was Lee.  He is digressing at HWC so a change would do him good.  Cornell or Michigan are about the only spots for him as OK ST has RBY and NLWC has Lilledahl.   HWC just doesn't have anyone with decent leg attacks to prepare Lee's defense.

Hey Jeff! The word you’re looking for is “regress.” Digress means to basically go off on a tangent during a conversation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Zare is a fvcking animal. He would have ripped Hendrickson's head clean off. Peak 2021 Gable would have trouble with this version of Zare and would have been a heck of a rivalry...

Hidlay said recently that he’s not too big for 86, and would probably go down. That was within the past couple weeks. Obv things can change.
