Maybe Josh Edmonds & Chance Lamer.

I was pensive at first when I heard Edmonds to 149lbs, because his success at 141lbs was limited, and sporadic - albeit he could wrestle close with anyone.  Then he went to 70 KG (~154lbs) and won the U23 title, so I am much more happy with the idea of him at 149lbs.

Lamer will always be the 'one that got away' for me.  Kid seemed like dynamite when I met him... good, firm morals.  Now he's on his 3rd school in four years.  It's just disappointing we couldn't keep him at UofM.

I'm a big Cross fan. Back to his Fargo final days.

😞

Thought you meant Mizzou's David Cross.

To which, I was like 'Master Crane?!'

Then I look now and see that he isn't on their roster.  He was last year, but hasn't wrestled since the 2023-24 season - so now I am sad.

"I know actually nothing.  It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me

Big David Cross fan as well. I coached him for about 6 years, from when he was 12-18.

Certainly won’t project him to be a contender, or to even AA, but Isaac Dean at ISU intrigues me.

Mostly because he was 19-30 in his career before going 26-9 last year and making R16.

Curious to see if he continues that trajectory or has already hit his peak.

He’s still a raw talent , didn’t wrestle all over the country in high school, went to a small public school then goes to rider and slowly rises to the level of that room and now I think he ll do the same at ISU especially with better quality practice partners ..I wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a huge jump
