Or maybe the murdering of George Floyd by police was the actual cause of all the damage. If Floyd wasn't murdered, there would have been no protests.

I guess it depends on how you look at it.

In any case - it was a very, very bad thing. One that should be avoided going forward.

Law enforcement needs to be trained better than to murder citizens. And held accountable when they do.

(And, yes, this includes ICE - especially ICE.)

I'm not a liberal.

But this is something that liberals should be proud of.

Not people of empty words, they are people of action. It is quite respectable.

What does 86 47 mean?    Well it is apparent that 47 means Trump.   That part no one is arguing.  What does 86 mean?   86 is a euphemism for eliminating, getting rid of, firing, ejecting, and in some circles killing.

So let's say Comey is so stupid he thought he was saying get  rid of Trump as in he needs to leave office.   When he found this in the sand in 2025, how was Trump to be removed from office?  R's have the Congress.   VP is not going to 25 amendment him.   So what could it possibly mean?   How do you get rid of a sitting President who is safe from all Constitutional methods of getting rid of him?    Maybe he was sooooooo stupid that he thought he could be impeached and get convicted in an R controlled Congress.   Or maybe he was sooooooooo stupid that he thought JD and his cabinet would turn on him.    Maybe, but people that stupid typically do not rise to the top of an organization, much less the FBI.   That leaves one serious possibility in my opinion.   But taking a year to arrest him shows it was not an imminent threat by him personally.   It could be said it an incitement to some kook who would then try to do it.

That said, I think this prosecution does not have much of a chance, unless they have some other information that makes this a whole lot worse.   I doubt doing this to sell more books would be the "some other information" needed to get a conviction.

Some are suggesting that this was low hanging fruit and other categories of crimes could come out of discovery. FISA abuse, perjury, leaks to the press, conspiracy…

Maybe.   But those are not the charges.   They already have FISA goods on him that he should be prosecuted for and he would lose.

Right - forgot this was another fake account used by you. Hard to keep track of all them.

Let's cut to the chase - the resemblance between the Subscriber star and the Russki star are obvious.

Anything more than that... you'd know more than I would.

Chicago riots over ice.   Like I said.  I have eyes.   You should use yours.

this is only Chicago…. And the list isn’t complete.   By the way 4,500 rioters were arrested along the way

This timeline synthesizes all documented direct actions, emergency mobilizations, and escalating legal clashes stemming from Operation Midway Blitz in the Chicago region.

🗓️ 2025: Ground Mobilization & Escalation

September 2025

September 6: Comprehensive pre-operation mass loop marches begin downtown as rumors of the impending deployment break out. Protests start outside Naval Station Great Lakes.

September 9: An emergency rush-hour march of hundreds blocks Michigan Avenue and circles the Loop federal field office immediately following the operation’s official designation.

September 12: Severe, spontaneous neighborhood demonstrations break out following the fatal shooting of Silverio Villegas-González by a federal officer during an arrest attempt in Franklin Park.

September 15: Outpourings of community-led and senator-led rapid-response rallies sweep Evanston and West Chicago following the initial surge of tactical operations.

September 16: Massive high school and college student walkouts paralyze parts of the city; an "ICE Out" rally centers at Federal Plaza.

September 19: Protesters converge heavily on the Broadview ICE facility. Federal authorities respond by striking activists with tear gas, pepper balls, and rubber bullets, sparking a multi-week staging ground.

September 23: Activists return to the Broadview facility, establishing ongoing, highly coordinated blockades to stop transport buses.

September 26–28: Escalated street protests sweep the Loop and Millennium Park. Protesters actively track and heckle armed U.S. Border Patrol agents marching through the Gold Coast in full tactical gear.

September 30: Mass neighborhood rallies and anti-deportation marches mobilize citywide following controversial late-night federal raids on a South Shore apartment complex.

October 2025

October 3: Activists deploy direct-action blockades against federal vehicles. Masked agents deploy tear gas and a smoke bomb against a crowd in Logan Square.

October 4: Major protests erupt in Brighton Park after a Customs and Border Protection agent shoots a local woman five times. Confrontations between neighborhood members and federal forces are met with heavy tear gas.

October 8: Citywide student walkouts take place, including a major campus-wide march by UIC students.

October 12: Protesters amass in Albany Park to disrupt active federal arrests, prompting federal agents to deploy tear gas directly onto residential streets.

October 14: Community members engage in an East Side street showdown to physically encircle and stall federal vehicles.

October 17: Illinois State Police move in to clear roughly 100 Broadview facility protesters into the street, leading to allegations of police violence using billy clubs.

October 19: A suburban West Chicago multi-coalition march draws hundreds to protest collar-county raids.

October 23–25: Three straight days of aggressive emergency protests in Little Village, Lakeview, and Irving Park. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino hurls tear gas canisters directly into crowds during the Little Village raids.

October 31: Halloween night "No Raids" neighborhood resistance actions sweep across Albany Park and the northern suburbs.

November & December 2025

November 8: Protesters gather at central ICE hubs to establish winter-preparedness encampments and vigils.

November 27: Activists hold a Thanksgiving Day "Families Belong Together" rally outside regional federal offices.

Late December: Fresh waves of city protests and tactical clashes emerge following the return of Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino to the city, drawing massive media coverage in the Chicago Tribune's year-end retrospective.

2026: Institutional Resistance & Courtroom Battles

January – April 2026

January 20: Inauguration anniversary anti-deportation marches tie up downtown traffic.

February 14: Pilsen activists host Valentine's Day "Love Your Neighbor" demonstrations tracking localized enforcement actions.

March 25: Activists hold a demonstration at City Hall, celebrating the satirical naming of a city snowplow as "Abolish ICE".

April 27–28: Large public crowds amass inside the Michael A. Bilandic Building during the Illinois Accountability Commission's public hearings. The commission unseals video evidence and unmasks rogue Border Patrol agents involved in the fall raids.

April 30: Broad rallies take place outside state buildings following the release of the Illinois Accountability Commission's final, scathing misconduct report.

May 2026 (Current Month)

May 1: Massive, citywide May Day / International Workers' Day mobilizations dominate downtown Chicago, centering entirely on the fallout of Operation Midway Blitz.

May 6 (Yesterday): Arrested activists file a sweeping federal lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, actively protesting the policy of forced post-arrest DNA cheek-swabbing.

May 7 (Today): Courtroom protests and celebratory rallies occur outside the Cook County courthouse as all remaining felony charges against the prominent "Broadview Six" activists are officially dismissed.

Seattle.  Who riots more ?   Ds or Rs?

Seattle, Washington, anti-ICE and immigrant rights riots have occurred in two distinct waves: the initial response to the Trump administration's nationwide immigration enforcement actions in summer 2025, and a highly aggressive second wave in early 2026 triggered by fatal federal shootings in the Midwest.

The chronologically ordered timeline of major documented direct actions and protests in the Seattle metro area includes:

🗓️ 2025: Summer Counter-Raids Response

June 9–10, 2025: Following the initial launch of federal immigration sweeps, hundreds of protesters led by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) gather outside Seattle City Hall and march downtown. Concurrently, student rallies ignite at the University of Washington’s Red Square and Cal Anderson Park.

June 15, 2025: Activists stage an anti-ICE "Stop the Kidnappings" demonstration at the USCIS Seattle Field Office in Tukwila. Weekly repeating community protests launch at Alaska Junction in West Seattle and in Shoreline.

June 18–24, 2025: A rapid succession of unannounced flash protests block traffic near transit hubs, extensively documented by Real Change News as a continuous week-long wave of localized resistance.

2026: The Shootings & National Solidarity

January 2026

January 7, 2026: Immediately following the fatal shooting of Renee Good by federal agents in Minneapolis, an emergency protest mobilizes roughly 200 activists who surround and march around the Seattle Federal Buildingdowntown.

January 23, 2026: Marked as the "National Day of Solidarity with Minnesota," at least 10 coordinated "ICE Out For Good" protests paralyze western Washington. Mass demonstrations simultaneously disrupt transit and target federal facilities in Seattle, SeaTac, Tukwila, Auburn, Bellevue, Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Everett, Gig Harbor, Issaquah, Lynnwood, Marysville, and Duvall.

January 27, 2026: A coalition of local organizations gathers for a high-profile rally in Seattle hours after Governor Bob Ferguson promises state legal resistance. Protesters demand that Washington senators completely block ICE funding.

January 30, 2026: Activists pack the sidewalks in downtown Seattle to stage a localized sit-in at the downtown Target store. Protesters pressure the corporation to leverage its footprint as a major Minnesota employer to oppose the sweeps.

January 31, 2026: Thousands of demonstrators take over Broadway in Capitol Hill. Led heavily by local nurses, cyclists, and teachers, the march honors Alex Pretti—the Minnesota ICU nurse shot and killed by federal officers.

February – May 2026

February 1, 2026: Regional spillover protests and community vigils expand eastward into Yakima and Puyallup, demanding an immediate halt to regional ICE processing.

May 1, 2026 (Last Week): The annual May Day / International Workers' Day march draws thousands of people to Cal Anderson Park and through the streets of downtown Seattle. The massive mobilization centers squarely on demands to completely defund ICE and stop ongoing deportations.

May 5–7, 2026 (This Week): Coordinated local actions hosted by Seattle Indivisible continue on a bi-weekly basis, including localized "No ICE Expansion" rallies at the Sabey Corporation HQ in Tukwila and neighborhood-level vigils at U-Village, Beacon Hill, and Greenwood.
