It’s against Jim Jordan and the gop in general, not much about the wrestling and it’s very political..basically to the random non wrestler watching you’ll think JJ was the real bad guy not Strauss

I think JJ is a clown and not very serious person , but he didn’t physically hurt anyone so I think this more hit piece then informative

that's interesting because the press release doesn't mention Jordan at all and it says it's based on this SI article, which is quite lengthy and barely mentions Jordan and only near the end of the article. The trailer doesn't mention Jordan either.

Interesting I saw a brief hbo write up about it and I believe they mention him in the first sentence

Looks like a high quality production. As a buckeye, it’s a bad look, but people owning up to it is important.  Not sure if it’s OSU or the individuals that are defending tooth and nail against the victims.

Do you think George Clooney is not going to mention Jim Jordon?

I think he'll definitely be mentioned and should be as at least one of the victims said that he reported it to Jordan and Jordan blew him off.

I am however very skeptical of the claim that the film is a political "hit piece" that will make you think Jordan "was the real bad guy not Strauss" as Antitroll claimed...

don’t shoot the messenger I haven’t seen it yet lol as I mentioned above I think JJ is a clown I hope it doesn’t  just focus on him blowing off the allegations because of a lot of people need to be called out for dropping the ball and letting this guy operate for a long time

I don’t have any inside information but from what I’ve seen from the reports, this dude was well known to have been fondling and doing unnecessary prostate exams and such for every physical and things as simple as common colds and cauliflower ear. He wouldn’t clear the athletes unless he got to perform his 30 minute disgusting skin checks and such. He showered with the teams multiple times a day and HIS LOCKER WAS RIGHT NEXT TO JIM JORDANS. He would take athlete’s photos at his home under the guise of “studies”. His behavior was just tolerated by them. There’s a quote that Jim Jordan said “I’ll effing kill you if you try anything with me” or something along those lines. The fencing coach openly tried to report this dude for years and got nowhere. Speculation is that this Strauss guy was tolerated bc he took the crappy office in Larkins Hall and did the events none of the other doctors on staff wanted.

so by prostate exam you mean like digital rape?

I mentioned earlier but I don’t think the claim was he blew him off at the time.  He blew him off 5 years ago or whenever that was when it came to light

The only surprising thing here is that the documentary wasn't made sooner. Every major sex abuse scandal ends up with a documentary.

I don't recall anyone accusing Jordan of that.

The report paid for by Ohio state reported at least 47 instances that were categorized as rape, a lot of them being as you described. They suspect a lot more than that occurred.

According to this news story, it was reported immediately. About halfway through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3RT6CynVZc

"Fred Feeney is the referee who says he was groped and sexually harassed in the shower by Strauss and immediately he reported it to coaches Russ Hellickson and Jim Jordan, and Jordan said, "That's just Strauss."

Strauss also worked the Ohio high school (and maybe grade school) state tournaments for decades performing skin checks and medical care...
