You'd think. Then someone comes along like the comment above and says they believe it all to be fact.

Maybe believe it to be; all facts of life, as its parables are a record of behaviors and how they affected society through analogies and metaphors. Amen

unlike your posts yesterday about the Pilgrims fighting against the Catholics at Lexington in 1776 in order to gain freedom for all religions and ethnicities.

not what i said and you know that. you're purposely distorting what was actually said.

i said they fled Europe from religious persecution from the church. You decided i said something else.

Yes its called hyperbole.  But it isn't that far off from what was said about the Separatists.

Sure, but keep it to yourself, family and close friends. The majority of us don’t want to hear it. Happy Sunday oko!

I just think it's a poor decision...in most cases. In Wrestling, I think it's probably about as good of an area to be conservative and promote that than anywhere else. The sport absolutely skews to the right towards conservative Christian values.

So looking at endorsement deals, I get it.

I've worked in sales and now own a small business and there's absolutely no reason for me to put my name and political or religious views points out there for public consumption. The old Jordan, "Republicans buy sneakers too," comment. I mean... Jordan's opinions reached a billion people, maybe more. Mine reach...like 12, but still, seems like an overall good philosophy.

I'm going with being charitable and thinking that a lot of these statements are satirical.

I don't know... a lot of people are very literal about the Bible.

I have an Uncle who...when I was trying to make sense of this Religion that I'd been taught all my life(I won't say indoctrinated, I would just say it's just what you did, you went to all the Lutheran stuff, it was just...something you had to do).

But I was asking 'Ok, but you don't really believe someone lived for 3 days inside a Whale, right?" And he said "yup." And then I'd asked, 'ok, how about the part where you can sell your daughter into slavery if they disobey you,' and he started to justify slavery in certain situations ...and I just tapped out. I said I can wrap my head around these having messages and...all that, but if you mean all this is 100% literal, I think that's just too hard for me.

But...that's what he...and many others believed.
