I agree on Ech. But E Frost is gonna need to cut down to 133 again to optimize their lineup.

Interestingly enough, gents... Walker (174) and Bullock (184) of Michigam both could utilize one more season, it appears.  Bullock could have two seasons, if granted a medical for 2023.

Walker could be done, but don't be surprised to see either utilize an additional year (or two) - possibly transferring out as well.

Yes, he'll be in the fray with Gaj, Torres, etc. fighting for a spot in 26/27.

They need to move on, Walker has zero chance to make the line up and Bullock wasn’t a NQ this year and regressed from the previous year. We’re Michigan, we need to have higher standards.

Seeing him last year he just looks too small for heavy but who knows.  I'm sure JC would even say he's too short for 97 yet gave the NC a heck of a match.

I am just curious how the logjam gets fixed at OSU at this point.

Merrill as the odd-man out this year, would insinuate he is odd-man out when Ross arrives, as well, right?

If Merrill doesn't beat Thompson, then Merrill is likely shopping (so we should be watching out for where his brother lands).

Qualification process was determined based on 2025 NCAAs results, which they didn't perform well.

Pretty confident Mayfield will be at 165.  Probably more likely to be 157 than 174.  He is not a big 165….

When did Jacobi get on campus? Didn’t know he even left NIU. Also according to Mizzou’s ‘25 roster and it may be incorrect, Nitzel is no longer listed along with several others. Crapps is listed but he’s in the portal.

Jacobi has been on campus for a while - I first saw him at the Cornell dual. 

Nitzel gave his senior speech at the banquet and I'm not sure how many (if any) open mats he's been to.

Was Jacobi not eligible last year? Might have been a better option than Stoner/Nitzel. He used a RS at NIU, so maybe he just didn’t wrestle at all to avoid using a year. Does that seem likely?
