That has to be the best first round of all time by PSU, at least in the era of 10 weight classes.

10 for 10.  2 decisions, 1 major, 4 techs, 3 pins.

2 majors right? Davis got it at the end.

I had it as 9 bonus and Bartlett.    Kasak, Haines, Van Ness pins, Kerk, Starocci, Mess, Lillendahl  techs, Barr and Davis majors...  And Bartlett being Bartlett.

Oh man you're right.  Forgot about that.

10 of 10, with bonus in 9.  Crazy.

What was Barr’s score?

I think it was 9-1.  Maybe 10-1 if I missed riding time at the end.

Bartlett being Bartlett. Sigh.

It's actually better on MatCast as the individual mat freezes a couple times during the sequence.

01:22:30 on MatCast

It's like a chest wrap inside trip........I'm not sure how he didn't spike his own head on the mat.

I hope the little pear is thoroughly castigated by his teammates for winning by a paltry decision!

AR Sports just released via You Tube the NCAA Men’s First Round Coverage (2:40 minutes) 44 minutes ago.

He did the same for Bjg10 each night.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Matcast commentary with Hidlay/Sparks was great. Hidlay was well prepared and sounds like a natural. Really enjoyed he and Sparks paired up. I couldn't handle the ESPN feed w/ TJ, Rock Harrison and the other guy.

It's not Track.   Put the blame on the NCAA, the arena, and some on ESPN.   They were the ones who screwed the pooch on this.
