This is going to sound crazy, but I think I will take Kasak if the match up happens.

Most would. Blaze is pretty damn tough and getting better as the year goes on

You not showing up for the draft...:classic_dry:

😅 I don't think he was actually signed up in time for our draft.  he was on the waiting list, and when another participant didn't show up in time, jensen didn't happen to be on the forum at the moment in order to absorb the spot.  I just wanted to make sure all were being characterized fairly lol

Joey blaze over Kassak

If Joey doesn't beat Kasak. My upset of the tournament is Cannon over Kasak. Match was closer than the score indicated last time. If Cannon can show some patience, keep the match close and eliminate mistakes it should be a very good match.

I am going to take the under on this one, but if it happens, K is a proven performer in the consi bracket!

Necessary dose of realism:

According to Pablo probabilities, Kasak has a 71% chance of making the semis, and Blaze has a 15% chance.

If you go with my "I wouldn't be surprised" metric of 15%, I would say NOW that "I wouldn't be surprised" if Blaze were to pull the upset.  I wouldn't expect it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Would be an upset, for sure, but not a real shocker.

Vegas has the probability of  Kasak winning at 55% (-120) and Blaze at 7% (+1300) at winning the weight.

Kasak looked completely confused the last 90 seconds of the match. Even after the match he just looked lost
