Some rumblings of hunter garvin in ames as well. would be really stocked up around the middle weights. Makes sense when the RTC has ortega and carr there

He didn’t expand on that part as to which type of certificate. I do know certificates are earned as part of taking classes, but are not degrees. Like a plumber or roofer can take certain or a group of classes needed to get certificates that allows them work and show they are board certified. Not trying to downplay it, but for an athlete it’s just a means of staying eligible. Checking the box. Yes they are attending class, maintaining GPA etc.

thank you, the info  - i had always thought you need to be full time matriculating student working towards a degree

Doesn't make sense from an educational standpoint if he hasn't finished his degree. This is his 3rd year at Stanford and it's difficult to finish in 3 years unless he has packed his summers with classes as well.

I believe he would be going to ames at semester with his degree

Will Illinois do anything in the Portal.  They have multiple holes and as constructed are likely a bottom 4 Big ten team this year?  They don't even have anyone listed at 197

Poly makes sense to go back home... but Carrol to Wyoming is a bit of a surprise. Branch may be able to do some good things with him. Glad to see they are getting someone instead of losing good kids they have turned into AA.
