What you think doesn’t make it real.

doesn’t change the fact that Americans should neither pay for fraud nor waste.

OMG. I'm actually pointing out what a dumb argument this is. See Caveira's point above. I'm making fun of it.

Just one? God, I could go on for hundreds of pages, so thanks for limiting it to one. You could pick and choose from all the lies about the alleged 2020 voter fraud (related to Biden because it indicates that he fraudulently won), where Fox had to pay Dominion almost $1 billion dollars due to all their lies.

so you won't post one.. noted

will you post anything about the admins lies to the public

Somewhere there’s a 300 year old woman who’s losing her social security and it’s all Elon’s fault.

Its age discrimination.  Notice no one is making a fuss about the 5 year olds on the social security rolls.

You think the fraud is going to be tweeted out like the obvious waste?

Well Elon is calling things fraud without evidence, so yeah, I’m pretty sure he’d tweet out if there was actual fraud.

Is food service slower in Florida?

Is New York fast paced?

How do you know?

Should you fight someone with cauliflower ear?

Just an anecdote, right?

Is the government work as efficient as the private worker on average?  Does job security lead to lower productivity when there is less pressure to perform?

When my government worker friend tells me he could not fire the elder minority asleep at his desk...

How difficult is it to get booted out of the Army? Answer, if you do certain things, it's pretty easy. Being in the Army is working for the federal government. So just like any other job, it is about the same. The reason some positions are harder to fire people is because of either seniority, or a process of due rights that some kind of misconduct or something like that needs to be proven. Like if you're a lab tech who mishandled nuclear material while joking around, you're probably going to get fired and rendered unemployable in that line of work, at least for the government anyway. You might ask, why do many agencies have rules like this in place that make firing people not as easy as telling them they have 10 minutes to pack up and leave? Because they want to keep good employees. Like anywhere else, people who aren't good don't last. There's exceptions definitely, but they aren't the norm. Things are going to always fall through the cracks or not noticed. It happens in the private sector too. A productive employee is more likely to stay somewhere they don't have to worry about their boss coming in one day and randomly firing 10 people because they're in a bad mood.

the wingers are still looking for all this fraud so they keep going to what they consider to be "waste," which is any spending they don't like.

HIlarious. You can't make this stuff up. The ignorance is amazing.

Funny that President Musk makes all these accusations about social security fraud, but only willing to do it on social media so far, and show no proof whatsoever.

You can say whatever you want when you're accountable to nobody.

Well, they haven't uncovered any signfiicant fraud at all. Just claiming that there are "a lot" of 160 year olds getting social security that shouldn't get it, but they haven't provided any hard data to back their claims about widespread fraud. Besides, we all knew that there was SOME social security and medicare fraud. I'm still waiting to hear about all the new findings of fraud going on.

As far as cuts, the problem is that they are deciding on their own what to cut. All of these cuts should be approved by Congress. As far as which ones are the most harmful to Americans, that is a matter of opinion. For me, I'd say firing inspector generals from all of the largest agencies, firing attorneys simply for working on the Jan 6 investigation (as they were instructed), pausing all federal grants and loans, and shutting down the consumer financial protection bureau are the worst ones.

So your defense of saying he hasn't found any fraud is saying that it was fraud that "we all knew about"??  Seriously??  Come on.....

And of the cuts made, I haven't seen anything I was like...oooh maybe he shouldn't of done that (not talking about the firing of people), but I also agree that they should all be made within the constitutional power of the POTUS, or through congress as needed; however, I am pretty sure you, nor I, nor anyone on here has ANY clue as to the actual legalities of what is happening...heck, even the MSM who sensationalize and lie all the time and hate Trump/Musk, ultimately punt and say the courts will sort it out...fine by me despite it slowing a lot of things down.  Funny part is that if the courts say it is okay but slows everything down to a crawl, you all will still be belly aching that it is taking too long, the judges are biased, and play some more mental gymnastics to somehow make these cuts bad.

He hasn't found anything that we didn't already know about, after almost a full month. This is pathetic. And he has nothing to back up the claims that he's made.

If we knew about it.  Why didn’t someone stop it before ?

and even so …. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stop it now.

We're 4 weeks into our great turnaround and DOGE is hard at work infiltrating every govt agency. So far, they've "uncovered" what they consider waste but where is this widespread fraud they said they'd find? Surely, they should have found something by now if it is so rampant.

There's some stuff we already knew about that they repeated back to us, like individuals getting welfare that shouldn't. GREAT FOR THEM!!

Too bad they haven't started on the Pentagon yet.

You will have to take off your rose color glasses first.
