It was a good day.  Smoked salmon came out right, not great but good football game, practice was fun, very productive day off work, and….as I’ve often said…I woke up this morning with just as much control over my future as I was when I woke up the morning before.

Not a bad day at all.

The Bears got Ben Johnson yesterday, so it was a good day in my eyes. Hope reigns eternal.

Not really a buckeye fan, but they have a wrestling team so ok.   I thought ND might make a game of it with their last TD and 2 pointer.   But they ran out of gas.

I have to admit that the lies were entertaining. I especially enjoyed his claim that God chose him.

What were all the lies??

Hopefully he can finally get them on the right track. They have a lot of the pieces. It doesn't help that they play in one of the best divisions in all of football so their record doesn't always reflect what they are truly capable of in my opinion.

So what the naysayers are saying is that they don't believe in science , that there are males and females.   That they have different bodies and abilities both physically, mentally, and temperamentally.   This is not an important thing for them to be discussion or for the President to discuss.   Yet, when Biden tried to dictatorially change Title IX to have men become women, non here complained that he was taking important time talking about a nothing burger.   Only when Trump comes in and changes that dynamic are there complaints.

Science says there are male and female mammals, reptiles, fish, etc.   They are all science deniers with regard to humans specifically.  And they are all hypocrites as detailed above.

What did he say that was truthful?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/transcript-trump-inauguration-speech-2025/

We have a government that has given unlimited funding to the defense of foreign borders but refuses to defend American borders, or more importantly, its own people.

Our country can no longer deliver basic services in times of emergency, as recently shown by the wonderful people of North Carolina, who've been treated so badly. And other states who are still suffering from a hurricane that took place many months ago. Or more recently, Los Angeles, where we are watching fires still tragically burn from weeks ago without even a token of defense.

To the Black and Hispanic communities, I want to thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and trust that you have shown me with your vote. We set records, and I will not forget it. I've heard your voices in the campaign, and I look forward to working with you in the years to come.

Today, I will sign a series of historic executive orders.

With my actions today, we will end the Green New Deal and we will revoke the electric vehicle mandate, saving our auto industry and keeping my sacred pledge to our great American autoworkers.

After years and years of illegal and unconstitutional federal efforts to restrict free expression, I will also sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and bring back free speech to America.

This week, I will also end the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.

Just to provide a few from his inaugural address.

I didn't get to see it but he likely learned a lot from Dan Campbell who is a hell of a motivator and leader in my opinion.
